I've been thinking about starting a UFO giveaway campaign in order to help promote the coin better, at the same time a twitter guy contacted me offering to do the same. He is willing to put 1M of his own for giveaways.
I am reaching out to the legacy UFO holders, who I know have substantial amounts. Holding the coins is doing no good neither to you or anyone else. It needs to have movement.

Yes b232c, it's a data mismatch hard coded into the wallet, it will be fixed into the next compiled version.

Hi, I've just downloaded the UFOcoin wallet for MAC OSX
It doesn't sync. It states Wallet (out of sync) 'No block source available'.
I had the exact same problem with another coin wallet and the fix was to add a load of nodes with: addnode=xyz into the 'xyzcoin.conf' file. I can't see such a file in the User->Library->Application Support ->UFO directory.
Any ideas please on how I can get the wallet to start the sync process?

From what I saw it looks like the coin was created to raise money, the site mentions that the coin "is worth mining and investing" and apart from the algorithm being more profitable to miners I didn't see anything that shows that this coin has any real potential value or use.
The site mentioned that the developers set up the coin to help with renewable energy, security, nano-tech and long life research, how do the developers plan to go ahead with this and is there a roadmap we can view?

I don't think we should go to bittrex or any other big exchange now. UFO is doing just fine on coinexchange.io at the moment. If we get on bittrex folks are just gonna dump. I prefer slow and steady growth coz Im here for the long run

But first, sorry, I'm amazed that similar questions are being made to a team that follows a coin of 10 satoshi...
In the deep:
1 For the same reason that we have worked on this blockchain since 2015, its powerful technology, you can find more information about ufocoin into the technical site.
2 It's not under our jurisdiction, It's a question for these exchanges sites and not for us.
3 We are not a bank with tons of fiats, we are not liars and we just like to give real news. We are not politicians with big un-achievable plans.
The ufocoin team is a technical group that is working on May 24, 2015 to rebuild the ufocoin infrastructure that was lost.
In the coming days, a page with a draft of the roadmap will be inserted on the ufocoin.co official site but you will only see technical themes for now because we are working hard and there is a lot to do.
