Got both Blades, and 10 Erupters, plus fan controller with 4 fans running off the old 30A supply.  Drawing 21A@12v.  Annoyingly, it's drawing over 500W from the mains, and emitting a ridiculous amount of heat.  These old bench supplies are NOT efficient in any way.

Will definitely be switching over to a decent, working ATX PSU ASAP.

Seems these blades take a while to setup.
Just finished stripping molex power cables to attach to all the blocks

I'm gonna use ocz 1250 zx series to power 9 boards.
Any one think I could run 15 of them. I gotta spare 650 watt psu laying around Giving out a total of 65 amps

I melted a 1200w PSU a while back by plugging GPU's into the wrong PCI-e connector, the cables were labelled 1-8 and i didn't start from 1 Sad

Thanks. Smiley  I was being careful with what cables I was using going by the label on the PSU.  It was giving trouble it seems, it was powering my last GPU miner machine, which wasn't the most stable.  I just stripped the machine last week.  Seems it was that PSU.

Got the USB and Blade this afternoon. Hashing away and overclocked with Slush stratum proxy.

Let me know how I can return the faulty USB miner as we discussed via PM!

I might end up using the old 30A machine, I don't know.  My head is fried with it, it's working at the moment, so I'm just going to leave it alone for tonight.  Been at it since this morning.  Undecided

What happened to your 30A PSU, that's what mine are running off at the moment, and after a quick trip to maplin to get a new fan for it, its working well Smiley.

Yeah, now running one blade per shitty OCZ PSU - thankfully I have two.

Got them running at ~12.5GH/s @ 1.15v so far so good. Ordered a decent PSU (Corsair Builder CX 750W), hopefully that'll do the job OK. Cheesy

Now my wires are on fire.  Shocked  Got to love OCZ and their damp string wires.  Roll Eyes

Serious?

Well my blades are working nicely, didn't need to set them up to work at 10gh, so I shoved it up to 13gh with a nice big fan on it Smiley.

Thanks again Outcast, trust left Tongue

Nice job Smiley

My 1000W PSU doesn't like running two blades overclocked.  I think it's something to do with the power rail distribution.  One blade is working off a heap of crap old OCZ 500W.
