Out of curiosity is there any reason I haven't received any staked UTC since August of 2018? I consolidated all my UTC to one address on that date and haven't gotten a single stake since then

Ask Bluesman75

He is clairvoyant.  Grin

105 out of 459 coins secured so far on Cryptopia. I hope UTC won't be the last one.  Grin

Still, UTC not yet secured.

It's looking very positive.

Presstab and the block explorer is working again. Cryptopia is working again, and seems that UTC wasn't affected.

Seems UTC is back again. Just waiting the trade in Cryptopia back again.  Grin

It seems Cryptopia will reopen. That would be fantastic.
Big news for lots of crypto investors.
however, next days, investors can only log in and check their balance.
Cryptopia said that they won't allow deposits, withdrawals, and tradings when reopening the exchange next days

I have UTC wallets on several PCs, all working fine.

Btw, UTC was born in January 2014. Perhaps we are not in the mood for anniversary celebration after Cryptopia hack, but better days will come.

Thanks Usukan

Can't sync wallet?

 Angry

Just a hint

If you are having trouble connecting your wallet:

Add these currently active nodes to your .conf file in roaming UTC folder:

addnode=73.255.95.110:44100
addnode=125.238.47.14:44100
addnode=37.194.10.30:44100
addnode=104.168.127.42:44100
addnode=84.249.78.109:44100

wallet should connect instantly

I truly doubt they were so stupid to have only one set of backup keys.

Same, I also doubt with the amount of volume they had they left the majority in hot wallets. We still are only aware that ETH wallets were compromised, there is zero evidence that BTC or any other alts were. Most of the real non-bot volume for PHR was on Cryptopia and cryptopia's PHR wallet hasn't been touched: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/phr/address.dws?41291.htm

Any news on PressTab? Without a block explorer we can't see if large amounts of funds of UTC had been moved lately.  Huh

This Cryptopia thing seems very serious.

I doubt they will come back from this...............

This is completely nuts!

The exchange is still being drained 15 days after the first attack - and folk are still depositing from mining?

https://elementus.io/blog/cryptopia-hacker-strikes-again-15-days-later/

The worrying thing here for any holders of UTC on the platform is:
It appears likely that the company only had one set of backup keys (negligence) and these were copied and then deleted in the hack.
The hacker may have total control over all their wallets.
If UTC wallets were stored in the same place - nobody but the hackers have control of UTC or all other crypto stored on the platform.
Nobody but the hackers can give back the UTC!
Almost zero chance of return of funds.

We'll see what happens. I've seen many coins come back from worse situation than we are in. I lost (?) almost 300K UTC at Cryptopia, but life goes on.

i have 2.000 old coins from the start in my UTC wallet, there was coin swap or i misunderstanding?

No coin swap, if you control the private keys/wallet.dat file you still have 2000 UTC... although they aren't worth much at this point in time

Add the nodes to your .conf file in roaming UTC folder

For instance - currently nodes are:

addnode=82.79.178.23:44100
addnode=125.238.47.14:44100
addnode=95.216.23.211:44100
addnode=84.249.73.200:44100

wallet will connect instantly
Honestly, it is a great hint.
My wallet can not sync before adding those nodes.
I don't know why it could not be synced, but for now, it worked fined.
Thank you.
