This is so silly!  What did they think would happen with the stress test!  Just wait, the backlog should clear soon.

Yeah thanks for the heads up guys, I have been having slow transactions too.  I guess I just need to bump up the fee a little bit to get my stuff to go through.

This one has been unconfirmed since the 6th.  fb402d240f1258a472f7ecca00b62994165620a7168ce19f80f4b8bddbe7b6ec

Yes I know the TX fees were screwed up.  I usually go by what the client thinks it should use.  That has been changed.

That's nothing. There was a reported unconfirmed transaction that got stuck for 17+ hours reported here in the forums (can't find the thread right now but it should be easy to find) so don't be surprised if it takes an entire day for it for confirmations to start happening.

Last days many people are having issues with bitcoin transactions. Including me also.
This "stress" test should be stop and everything must go back normal

Some safeguards need building into the Bitcoin wallets to prevent this type of spam attack working in the future. There will be endless copycat attacks now it's been demonstrated to work and have a serious effect on the network. Has there been any word from the core devs about a fix yet?

I have 1 that has been out there for over 2 days (yes the transaction fee is low), the other has been a high priority for over a day.  TX=af0b0314687dccefd7a93a8c743723935e6c995e416e5502e9719d4ccfec9056

It doesn't have a low fee warning.  But I have adjusted my fee to what has been posted as standard here.

Just pay 0.0001 per kb and you are fine. I am sick of these people complaining their tx is stuck. Just follow the bitcoin core policy and pay 0.0001 per kb. Time for alternativ client developers to adjust their fee settings.

Just tried it, tx got confirmed within 1 block.

That is right. I always pay the right amount of fee and get confirmation quickly.

11 minutes between blocks and it didn't pick up 1 transaction?!  I've been waiting for hours...........
How about calming down first? Every now and then there is a empty block, and this particular one was generated by a unknown entity, hence the IP address.
If you have included the proper fee it should be very quick. Please read this thread from start to end to understand some of it.

What in the serious fuck?!

Why are the miners ignoring paid transactions?

Basically you're right. The problem is that people will most likely use the default setting of their wallet for fees. If that isn't adjusted to the current situation, the transaction won't be confirmed.

It's the sudden onset of these spam attacks that make them problematic: A transaction might have been sent with a fee which was adequate at the time of sending, but reaches the mempool at roughly the same time of the attack with the result that the fee is no longer adequate.

yeah, there are also people saying bitcoin is broken, just because their tx didn't confirm within 10 minutes block time. but we're here to help. if some one doesn't know, just explain it to him. next time he's good to go.

I heard today bitcoin network was attacked by spam transaction. Try to increase your fee to 0.0003 or 0.0005 to prevent delay. There are 19591 unconfirmed transactions right now. Unconfirmed transaction increase quickly, so increase your tx fee may help you. https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions

Could be a miners cartel forming to increase the block values.. Won't be surprised if this keeps going from now on, forcing all of us to pay higher fees..
Be sure to keep that tinfoil hat on your head! They might even try mind control to increase transaction fee's.

Haha, I know it may be a bit far fetched, but this type of stuff happens all over the world since forever.. Why not in bitcoin? I don't mind actually, as I think the miners deserve the fee and therefore always pay the recommended fee.

Why is my transaction still unconfirmed? I have sent 0.06 to Bitmixer.io and it's unconfirmed for more than 9 hours, but address will stop working in 3 hours! I don't want to lose my coins, so.. Is there any way to get them back?

https://blockchain.info/tx/9fa3b45906a95cd9a7919161e08b1e2e238378da2858aabd363b21eb15aedaca

How is this not getting confirmed?

The block bellow has 2 transactions on it... I don't understand why it didn't confirm his as well?
