That's nice! No one will mind accepting donations irrespective in the form of digital currency they come in. On a serious note, this is a step forward for the crypto community.

It's very optimistic news that UNICEF now accepts Bitcoin and 8 other coins ( Ethereum, Lightcoin, Ripple, Monero, EOS, Bitcoin Cash, Steller and Dash). If more and more big organizations accept Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, it will be very good for the crypto-market.
Indeed, its really good in the market now because everyone is slowly adopting the blockchain technology. This is a worldwide organization and the big thing is they will earn more so they can help more people because the value of cryptocurrency keeps on soaring higher.

Therefore, we would be very grateful if the BitcoinTalk community could help us by giving us your feedbacks on the pages, what to improve, to add or to correct, and better if you can relay the information to your network, and even better, if you could make a little donation to encourage the hesitating ones.

Thank you for any help you can provide !
Some countries are really supporting bitcoin as well as other crypto currency, no wonder why Japan starting to pay salary now using bitcoin and even some organization accepts bitcoin. This only prove us that this cryptos really has a good future ahead and that time will come that legality issues will soon be settled.

Yes some developing nations are trying their best to support cryptocurrency as it can ease poverty and it will create more business opportunity for them.

That is good news for the cryptocurrency enthusiasts. The step that UNISELF took is a boost to cryptocurrency. It will encourage transactions from any part of the world. The importance of cryptocurrency is gradually being realized. The future of bitcoin and some altcoins are bright and will change the way money is handled world wide.

Wow, this is really positive news, where institutions under the auspices of the United Nations are starting to accept btc as a tool for humanitarian donation, maybe in the future for investors who have more funds and want to donate their funds using crypto can be made easier, and hopefully this will help people who lack in economic aspects

Wow, this is excellent news! Hopefully, more crypto users will donate some of their bitcoins and altcoins to UNICEF France soon. This is a worthy cause, and even though I am not ready to buy bitcoins and altcoins yet, I think this is something I can actually consider as a reason for buying cryptos. That said, I hope that more and more UNICEF branches/headquarters would start accepting cryptos as well. I think it would be better.

Very good news, UNICEF is one of the well known organizations in the world who gives assistance to the kids. They also promoted mining crypto's before for charity.

You are a little wrong. They also accept all tokens on Ethereum (ou tokens ERC20)

This is indicated in the list. It turns out they take thousands of currencies and believe in their future)
I hope that no one would troll them by sending their shitcoins.

It's great to see more foundations and businesses starting to accept cryptocurrency, in this day and age if you don't accept crypto you are turning away a lot of potential customers.

This is really good move by the biggest non profit organisation UNICEF by accepting cryptocurrency as donations. This will result in mass adoption of cryptocurrencies within ecosystem. And people will start believe in cryptocurrencies for making daily payments and for store of value.
