Sounds good Smiley

Thanks, and it IS good! Smiley

Sorry for double posting this, just want to make sure everyone see's this notice:

New wallet should be released by the end of this week! It will have "Dark Gravity Wave" system integrated. This will reduce difficulty fluctuations, improved blockchain security & much more! Smiley

Quote
Another common difficulty readjustment algorithm is the Dark Gravity Wave, as originally used in Darkcoin, which combines multiple exponential and simple moving averages to smooth difficulty readjustments and mitigate against exploits in the Kimoto Gravity Well.

According to the developer[1], "[DGW] uses multiple exponential moving averages and a simple moving average to smoothly adjust the difficulty. This implementation is far more simplistic and better suited to adjust difficulty than KGW and also fixes all known exploits."

Update:

Dev: "Cryptodev team told me that they will have the new version of Unify at the end of the week! No swap will be needed. Everyone simply will need to update their wallets and that's it Smiley"

novaexchange has a coinswapping service to help make it easier aswell, if we go that route

That is unlikely. I just talked again to people who will be fixing the coin and they have reassured me once again that no coins will dissapear & etc. Simpy everyone will need to update their wallets & that's all.

What about people that have a balance on NOVA e-wallet?

I will inform Nova exchange about upcoming hardfork and they will update their wallet, so everything should stay the same. You shouldn't even notice a difference.

Haha, a good one.
However there is no Adidas on the picture, nor a bottle of vodka so it is not 100% stereotypic russian pose.
Anyways that was quite interesting one Smiley

Are you going to try a hardfork?

I think is better option to launch a new coin/algo and let us test it out by mining first. Then when we see there's no "difficulty" problem we can swap coins from the old unify to the new one, manually or maybe using the service novaexchange offers https://novaexchange.com/coinswap/.

So, it would be like this.

1- Launch a new unify coin/algo
2- Premine the already unify circulation supply to future swap
3- Mine the coin for a couple of days and test theres no difficulty problem.
4- If everything works ok. Swap the coins to the new CHAIN.

This is just a suggestion if you prefer a hardfork its ok.

I hope that it will be easy to do the hardfork and no one will need to do anything more than just simply to update the wallet. I think that would be the best case.

I have a lot of coins on my wallet and I did not sell them either, on the contrary I bought on the stock exchange, what does it say?) The developer has fewer coins))) I assure you, look in the top 100 explorer

some of those address are for novaexchange too.

So when do you plan to make a hardfork? the sooner the better.

Not sure yet, need to talk to find out answers to all the questions first and then I will announce it once I'll know the date.

Good news: block finally moved; bad news: difficulty is still insane.
