staking really sucks for me. Last days I get 10 notification but only one is in the wallet. They disappear after some time.
I received over 500 blocks in 2 months and not 1 has disappeared. check the block explorer or your last transactions and see if the blocks are ignored

Greetings Aragorg

What OS are you using, I'm using Windows 8.1 and just started my wallet back up after 2 days offline and it synced about ~30 hours in less than a minute.  You may want to close your wallet, and delete everything except your wallet.dat in your UnifyV2 folder in appdata/roaming/UnifyV2 DO NOT delete your wallet.dat, just everything else in the folder.  After this, start your wallet back up.  You should also have your wallet.dat backed up somewhere else, just as a side note.  We are in the process of figuring out why some people are having issues with the wallet.

Thanks friend , i will try.

I did send 2000 unify to wallet again, from an exchange.. and they did not arrive yet.

Hope they will arrive when i reinstall the wallet.

Thanks

Greetings, windows 10!

Reinstalling the wallet worked, but the 2000 UNIFY never arrived.
So whats the procedure now?
Are they gone forever?

Greetings Aragorg

You can try the  -salvagewallet command.
Create a shortcut of Unify.exe, right click on properties and add -salvagewallet at the end.

Should look like this:

Now try opening Unify with this shortcut and see if the coins appear.

I have heard that nova exchange is closing..
Is it right..
Someone posted this on a telegram group...

Nova is changing management in a couple of months, and is closing and re-opening.  Make sure you don't have any coins on there when they do so.

Instructions for those who encounter syncing problems with their wallets:

https://www.reddit.com/r/UnifyCoin/comments/7arzxq/troubleshooting_what_to_do_when_your_wallet_wont/

in short, blow away the blocks and start all over in downloading them.
without bootstrap zips of the blocks i'm dis-inclined to consider this a solution with my metered internet usage.
especially without assurances it wont keep happening on a regular basis.

no biggie, plenty of other altcoins to play with.

Sorry to hear about your internet usage being limited, that must suck.  I hope soon it becomes illegal for ISPs to do that.  These syncing issues are being looked into which some people seem to be having, and it is a solvable issue.

I had cryptopia Unify tokens now its canceled there what im gonna do ?

Simply download a desktop wallet at www.unify.today & transfer your Unify from Cryptopia to a wallet that you've downloaded. If you do not wish to download a wallet, then you can transfer your Unify from Cryptopia to CoinExchange.io, Yobit.net or Mercatox.com

Despite everything....I believe that the majority will agree with me that everything's going to turn out alright anyways. The team's still working their asses for you and nothing has changed with our plans or roadmap.

Too bad things didn't work out with Cryptopia. On the bright side, we're looking to add a few more exchanges now, not just one. For a lack of a better analogy "remove one head and 2, 3, or 4 will grow in its place." Unify will recover and continue to grow my friends. 👍

Keep it going guys no matter what. Did anyone from the team talk to Cryptopia about the real reason behind the delisting? Was it really about wallet problems they could not fix?

Cryptopia has very little volume anyway, we tried reasoning with them, but to no avail.  In the long run, it's almost a non-issue, once we get on other exchanges it will have been forgotten.  Thank you for the concern though.

I am totally on your side. Cryptopia delisting is by far not the end of the world, although it is always good to have a decent place to trade at. We should try and become listed somewhere else asap.

Yes Simonas is working on being listed on more exchanges.

Which ones are currently on the list? Maybe the community can support through voting or submitting requests. Could help a lot I think.

and i'm 8 days behind stuck on block 59936 with 12 connections and running the wallet continuously for a couple days.
strangely enough this is stuck shortly after i received my first coins from an exchange and then shut down the wallet for a few days -- about 116 confirms on that transaction before shutting down the wallet.

windows7/64bit, wallet version v1.2.0.2-g-POS

perhaps a zipfile of a recent snapshot/bootstrap of the blockfiles could be made available for people to get around these humps (not recovering from soft forks?)

Is this coin project really what I'm looking for? Can it rise like a bitcoin and an etheric square? What are the expectations of a coin without investment value?

Once the coin is being used to buy and sell things, it will increase in value.  This will start snowballing when the market and crowdfunding platform are established, along with being integrated into other websites.  Unify is still very new compared to other coins, and these things take time.  There is a small, but strong backing behind this coin which is growing each day.  Buy, hold, don't think about it too much, stake if you want to earn more and help the blockchain, and check in on development every once in a while.  Applications for this coin are yet to come, but they will come.
