We have great news everyone! The programmer is currently doing final tests on POS system and wallets. If tests are succesful, a definite POS date will be announced within a couple days, which will be around the beginning of September. YES!!! FINALLY!!! OH MY GOD FINALLY!!! IT'S ABOUT FRIGGIN TIME!!! 😁

Exactly, if everything goes well, we will soon know the exact date of PoS introduction. In addition, Saso ends work on the new website at unify.today . And that's just part of what we have in our plans, the graphic roadmap will soon be announced too Smiley

Good morning everyone (or afternoon or evening depending on where you are  Smiley ). We are one day closer to the switch to POS. The Dev.  has been working tirelessly for the upcomong switch and appreciate your support. The  new website is just about complete and will be released shortly. We  have positive changes coming!

Here's a question: Do you have any relatives, facebook friends, or twitter followers who have an interest in the world of crypto? If so, spreading the word about this project would be a big help for Unify and it's community of loyal supporters. It is another way that you, as a supporter, can contribute to and ensure the success of this project. So if you know anyone that may be interested, tell'em. We really appreciate it.

Our telegram community is almost 260 and growing. The more support we have, the easier the work will be for us, the faster this project can move along, the sooner our goals can be reached, and the sooner that we can be listed on Bittrex and the other big exchanges (I can't wait  Grin)!

Although we have a programmer working on the POS right now, the Dev. is still looking for an interested and skilled professional programmer to join our team on a permanent basis. Serious inquiries (and we mean serious inquiries) are welcomed to contact SBDomains or Icefrag on this forum or our telegram chat. Thank you all for you supporting Unify! 👍

Alright! News update on POS switch:

Because we want everything done right the first time, the Dev. is aiming for early September for the release of POS in conjuction with the new website. This will give us time to make sure there is a smooth transition.

However.....there is a possibility (and Unify does reserve the right) that POS and website release may occur EARLIER than scheduled.

If there is an early release, we will post it on this forum 24 hours in advance. So there is still (although little) time to buy while the price is still low. NOW is the time go buy and hold before it is too late and you miss your opportunity to profit from the coin that you've been looking for!  Wink
This is some awesome news that should be able to bring us in more investors to the coin and more volume which will drive the price we have longevity here with this coin. let's gooooooo........

Update on upcoming  POS system.

Quoting Icefrag from our telegram chat:

"Initially, the reward for the block was to be fixed (1 UNIFY per block), but the programmer stated that it would be easier to make a percentage reward."

So Unify has decided that instead of the block reward being fixed at 1 Unify per block per minute, the reward will be 5% of wallet balance per year for each individual wallet. Which would be if staking 10k Unify, 500 Unify per year.

Another quote from Icefrag on update:

"You can run your wallet all the time, you can also turn it on every few days, weeks. The reward will be similar, but for the network it is healthier to start your wallet as often as possible. If we increase the total supply to 19mln, about 2 years to reach max supply. Just like with a constant reward for a block."

This positive change will be better for the system and stakers. This adjustment will not affect our deadline.

The more coins you have in your wallet, the more you earn! There's still time before the switch! Get them while they're still cheap before the price rises! Stay tuned! And hold on to your coins!  You'll be glad that you did! Wink

I get:"Interupted:Virus detected". When I try to download the wallet. Why?

How can I take this coin seriously when a simple question get ignored by the devs?

Your question was not ignored. I posted the answer right under your question yesterday.

Again, the answer to your question:

Quoting onzz243 on why wallets trigger antivirus software:

"Those are false positives for sure, you are welcome to review the code and built it by yourself if you think there is malware. Suspicious and the unwanted programs are something that pretty much every client can trigger since p2p networking is considered usually PUP(Potentially Unwanted Program).... if you are interested more about the subject you can ask the anti-virus companies."

So, cryptocurrency wallets triggering false alarms are common. I had the same thing happen on my computer with windows defender & McAfee. The wallets are not viruses and are safe to use so you may disregard those "virus detected" messages when downloading. You may have to either turn off windows defender or use winzip to unzip those files. I used winzip.

Look on page one of the forum. A person had the same problem and it was explained by onzz243.

If want to, you may join our telegram community and ask your question there also. You will get the same answer.

The new source code for POS is almost finished. We are currently working to slightly increase max supply to approx. 19 million. Once the code is tested and working we will release it. Thank you for your patience and support.

Updates:

The new website should be completed by approx. the end of the this month give or take a day.

The new website URL will be (drumroll)....http://www.unify.today

This is the page you've been looking for. 👍

Again, the website will be completed by approx. the end of this month, give or take a day. The URL is working but if you click on it now a "coming soon" page will pop up.

I'm looking forward to seeing it completed and up and running.
