am i the only one that is stuck on block 15779?

Everyone is preparing POS wallets to create new chain. The Dev team is about to use miners to mine the remaining blocks to get things moving. Sorry about the delay.

POS SWITCH INFORMATION, READ CAREFULLY!!!

1.

Backup your current wallet (POW wallet) by opening Unify 1.1.0.0 client.
Once you open the client. Click on "File" -> "Backup Wallet..." & save your wallet after naming it "wallet" (wallet.dat).
After that simply exit this wallet client.

2.

Once you have wallet.dat file it's now time to download the new, POS wallet. Go & download the new Unify POS wallet from https://mega.nz/#!3FozHDKJ!a7RogMeONKCrQuScD2JaqXmGWoFEcvaEncdX_bBc4qY
Simply extract unify-qt.exe file out of the archived folder and place it in anywhere you want.

3.

Open unify-qt.exe and wait for it to synchronize. Once it synchronizes, close it.

4.

Click "Windows Button + R" on your keyboard and type in %appData% and find a folder called "UnifyV2".

5.

Copy the wallet.dat file (the one that you've got in step 1 of this tutorial) and paste it into the "UnifyV2" folder. Overwrite the current wallet.dat file with the one that you are copying.

6.

Launch the unify-qt.exe and everything should be there! Smiley

WARNING ! Before block 15924, it is better not to make any transactions in the old POW version wallet & don't make any transactions in the new one until block 15924.
* Run the new wallet a few hours before the PoS phase (planned for block 15924, about 12 PM UTC time, September 3) and leave it (if u have password u unlock wallet for staking) in order to get the chain moving faster."

My unify are stuck in deposit from my wallet to cryptopia. Only 4/20 confirmations for over 15 hours now. Will this be a problem during the swap?

tx id d991ba0e51f61cf1ca448cde756c058f6cb4dd88b19ac941fbc299ebcccad739

You have 131 confirmations as you should be fine. Check the wallet address you sent them to in the block explorer.
Also still unconfirmed

How many confirmations do I need?

If the swap happens will I still receive these coins if it is still stuck?

You only need 20 confirmations so your coins shouldn't be stuck. Cryptopia wallets have been in maintainence since yesterday. You can't access them until 1-2 days after POS switch. You may contact Cryptopia support for more information.

Thanks for the feedback. Will wait after POS activates

POS Switch FAQ's:

When is the switch to POS?

POS switch is planned for September 3rd 12 PM UTC time.

Will I lose my coins if Ieave it in an Exchange?

No, your coins will be safe in the exchanges, we even recommend that if you are a beginner, this might be the best option for you. Wallets will be offline September 2nd, one day before POS and 1-2 days after POS. You will be able to trade your coins in the exchanges, but you will not be able to deposit or withdraw. You may continue trading Unify as normal. Remember, 2FA all the way!

Will I lose my coins if I leave it in my desktop wallet?

No, your coins will be safe. You must download and run the new wallet when available:

1) Shut down and copy the wallet.dat file from the UNIFY folder to the UNIFYv2 folder in C: \ Users \ Yourusername \ AppData a few hours before the POS launch.

2) Start the new wallet and leave it online (if you have a wallet password, you must unlock it for staking).

3) You can also launch the new wallet after the POS phase is complete.

What about users coins who are in the mac and linux wallets?

They have to wait for the new wallets or move their wallet.dat to windows client.

Which desktop wallets will be avaiable after POS?

Windows wallet will be available shortly before POS starts. Mac, Linux, and others like the web wallet, paper wallet, android, and IOS wallets will become available afterwards.

How do I backup my wallet?

1) Easy option: Open wallet client, select File -> Backup wallet -> Select destination for backup wallet.dat

2) Second option: Go to appdata UNIFY folder and copy wallet.dat

It's recommended to have a copy of your wallet and have a password on it. NEVER share wallet.dat file with anyone.

How do I find the appdata folder?

The easiest way is to press "WINDOWS KEY + R" and type: %appdata% then OK.

I have a problem after downloading the old client, no file or can't open.

Some anti-virus programs detect false alerts during unpacking archive, so it's a good idea to turn off your anti-virus software for a moment or add a file to the anti-virus white list. Also, you may download winzip and use that program if you don't want to turn off your antivirus software.

So the plan to add masternodes is still up?

Maybe in a year. Right now we're concentrating on current goals.

I just found the problem... I sent the coins to UNIVERSE "UNI", It's right above UNIFY, I clicked the wrong coin... I take it that i can't do anything about it.... $750 gone?

It's not in Universe. It's in your Unify wallet. That address did not show up in Universe blockchain. The address (UUdNA2QmipSPSJ5yzqLHPcQyhu1Dgov7gx) is a Unify address.

If you did sent it to Universe, then your coins may be gone. But I don't see how that's possible because the explorer is saying that those coins moved through the "Unify" blockchain and reachd that "Unify" wallet.

So I do not understand how those coins aren't showing up in your Nova balance. Is the address you sent them to a Cryptopia address or a Nova address?

My suggestion to you is to contact Nova support. Make sure you include your transaction ID in your inquiry so they can help you.
