Because we got ranks and shit, let's turn this into a voting forum where we get votes by ranks and shit.

This way, we can coup...erm, "transfer ownership" to a good entity through "trusted" democracy. kek.

After the new DT changes, the system has already changed to a voting system, just use your trust list to participate in the voting process.

If enough of us sign a petition using a non-reputable signature, we get unionization... let's say 50% of membership, and we can do log(xxx) level, so even mods and admins get say, with a fuckton more votes.

None of this petition would give shit here until theymos finds it worth implementing, you even don't know how many things are on his to do list anyways. This is a centralized forum for you're kind info, you should stick this in your mind.

But if you see the good side of theymos's administration he already wants the community to get the power to decide who is trustworthy and who is not, so we should just respect this young mans thoughts.

Far too late at this point, with something like this it has to be implemented right from the start, otherwise it just goes to shit. Plus it just adds complexity for no reason, the forum is setup the way it is because it works and I like it just fine. Yea there are some things I would fix but anyone still using the forum likes it in one form or another. Why would you want to take something, that you like already and then give everyone else the power to change it for you?

Are there any unions where the unionees are not being paid by the company? To me it sounds pretty dumb to unionize when the union would be unable to collect dues of any kind. Also what would this union fight for? I think the better question is why do you want a union

Really?  You sign a petition and magically things change to your advantage?  Are we living on the same planet here?

Honestly I don't know what your point is and what exactly you want to unionize.  Seems like you want a seniority system, which I'm pretty sure Theymos won't implement as far as rank determining how much of a voice you have in forum matters.  What matters most is your reputation and whether you can make logical arguments.

This forum is centralized whether you like it or not, and no amount of digital signatures on a shitty-ass petition is going to change that.

Voting system is always flawed, it only breeds corruption, it'll never be implemented here.

What authority are we tryna usurp here if I may ask, I see no dictator, and democracy today is flawed likewise.
