Updating from 0.9.6.1 to 0.9.6.2.
6 connections to network.
But no sync, staying at block 456607 Huh

I fired up my Yescrypt miner and the block I found looks like kicked the chain and it is moving forward. We are on block 456613 at the time of writing.

nzsquirrell, what wallet version does blockchain explorer is running?

OK, massive fork on the network again, the 5-sequential-block rule kicked in @ 456000 - and then we've got stuck on 456600 due to a lack of miners on the correct wallet. and now the alternative chain-fork is building strength....

C'mon people ... if your mining UIS - update your fricken wallets. There's still far too much RED on the peer list - http://unitus.nutty.one/network

UIS closed on Polo Cry

we were trying to convince them not to delist, but hey, they have hands full of ETH, why would they make extra work with other unique cryptos which don't make them much money.

Let's try to get UIS listed on Cryptopia, we are second now - https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting

Re: trading UIS on banx.io, do your own research and be careful!

I found that UIS can be traded here - https://www.banx.io/trade?c=UIS&p=BTC

Not sure about this exchange though, never heard of it.
Do your own research and trade with caution.

P.S. Might be useful to contact them about the coming fork and let them know that they should upgrade their wallets.

There's already a warning at Unitus.ninja saying not to send any Unitus to that exchange.

The Banx exchange has been shown to be a dishonest exchange, claiming thousands of dollars in daily volume for Banxshares but only $6 daily volume for all their other coins combined.

Coinmarketcap actually delisted Banxshares after this exchange repeatedly reported fake numbers to get Banxshares to the #8 spot.

Banx is only sold on its own exchange so they can prevent anyone from selling below "ICO" price, even though the "ICO" has been going since 2014.  So users aren't allowed to sell their shares at all.

Banx was listed at C-Cex for a short time, but C-Cex started allowing people to sell their Banxshares - so Banx hardforked and only redeemed coins held at their own exchange, invalidating all coins held at C-Cex.

Here is an article with more about Banx:

http://coinjournal.net/ponzi-accusations-fly-as-banxshares-is-set-to-be-removed-from-coinmarketcap-rankings/

And an update:

Dammit, I thought I just got saved from my couple hundred dollar loss to due UIS being pulled from Poloniex.
Thanks however, things could've gotten worse if I were to deposit there.

Does anyone else have any other exchanges?

Good news !
There are on the good wallet version ?

Looks good to me, the block count (see https://www.banx.io/systemstatus) seems to be the same as http://unitus.nutty.one/network. Of course if they haven't updated then it will not match once we hit block 460000.

Withdraw to Poloniex seems not working.
Sent few coins from a 0.9.6 and from a 0.9.6.1 wallet, nothing arrived on Polo ...

Coins finally arrived on Polo !

Poloniex is delisting UIS today(08/02/16).

I can't seem to find any other exchanges with UIS listed. I have ~450k uis which I can't use anymore. Let's get cryptopia to list UIS!

Banx.io was previously known as Atomic-Trade.com and has been around for over 2 years now,  I can really recommend it, has a really great dev behind it and in the time i've used it, its never been hacked or lost my coins. very reliable site.
UIS has had a home there for some time along with its cousins BLC, PHO, UMO, SKEIN.  UIS "mother" coin Myriad can also be found there. Smiley

I sold enough altcoin dust tips from the trollbox to get 10,000 DOT.

Somebody else just put in a lot more than that, so Unitus is now #1

Thanks for that!
But looks like SUPER is wanting to win very badly... let's see maybe not worth to waist DOT and better wait off till next week.

EDIT: I added my vote and we are 2nd at the moment. I think we can easily push it to be first and keep the position!

I opened support ticket on Polo with request to update their wallet.
Updating my nodes as I write this...

response from Polo:

"Thank you for reporting this, I will check our wallet version."

When I rebuild unitusd on Linux, do I need to do 'make clean' first or it should be fine with just running 'make'?

just make should be enough - once built run unitusd --help and the version should be 0.9.6.2
