Nice to see the hashrate spike as buyers push the floor upwards. Merge mining has really gone a long way to secure the UNO rockchain, and with only 1.5 UNO mined a day there is almost no inherent gravity holding the market down. Thinking about the future of this coin makes me feel really excited.

UNO hit 2.5 PHS today!
117.1M difficulty which I believe is the highest I've seen.

Nicely done.

On the cusp of UNO's 3rd birthday (the start of our 4th year) I'm glad to have more good news.  BitSquare.io has added UNO to their decentralized trustless exchange!

If you have never used BitSquare (and I had not until yesterday) you will find its not like any other exchange you've encountered.
Bitsquare requires you download a java app to connect to their network of traders.

Once you work through the small learning curve, it's pretty easy to use. It just takes a little getting used to.
Trades occur slower than on a centralized exchange, but then again, you won't ever find yourself locked out of your account, either.

Here's a screen shot of setting up a UNO trade.

Lets say you want to sell UNO on BitTrade.io
Before you can create a trade, you have to send Bitcoin to your wallet address.
There is a cost of .01 bitcoin to guarantee the trade and prevent spam, but it is refunded after the transaction completes.

If you would like to try buying or selling Uno, I have some trades posted on BitSquare.io...
This is my Portfolio page

Like I said, this is a different kind of exchange, a different paradigm for thinking about how trades can be accomplished without requiring trust.

I'm glad UNO has this new arrow in it's quiver of tools. If Cryptsy/MintPal/MtGox and high profile exchange hacks have you concerned, or if you would just like to learn something different, go download the BitSquare app and give it a try.

'Trades occur slower than on a centralized exchange'

I managed to trade a pinch of Doge on Bitsquare a couple of months ago. The design of the site makes me grind my teeth; but dexchanges should be, IMHO, very carefully considered.

The slow trade thing?

Do I understand correctly that what Bitsquare provides is not at all the sort of 'Wall-Street price discovery' that has characterised cryptos since Mt. Gox? but rather a slow-motion reality, something more akin a village marketplace? Could this lessen the problem of pump-and-dumps in a market with thin trading-volumes (that is, assuming that substantial volume were on dexchanges)?

The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao
I can setup a full node for at least a year. Pm me for more information guys.

Go ahead and set one up. Our community leader already offers to set up nice nodes for $60 in UNO a year.

Also, FallingKnife is trustworthy (i.e. no neg ratings) and also announces his business in public instead of shadily soliciting private messages.

CoinExchange.io saw a little action today.  The price hasn't been this high since last July.
If you're hunting Uno deals, be sure to check out CoinExchange.

Right. I'm not letting mine go anywhere either. Hypothetically speaking of course. I think a neighborhood or stray dog attacked and killed a few of my chickens early this morning. Sad day, counter-balanced to be bittersweet because UNO is also fairing well.  Huh

a millionaire born everyday with a new coin

Even though you're new, and I sense scarcasm.. UNO is not a new coin. And currently if you owned all of the coins you'd still not be a millionaire.

@Red, sorry my friend, but I will have to correct you.

If somebody owned all of the UNO, they would be a millionaire because before I let my dust-covered stack go to them, the price will be WAAAAAY up there, so I'm guessing the market cap would have to be well over a million...maybe a billion!  Grin

Thinking...if the price was WAAAAY up there, I probably wouldn't sell anyway. Cheesy

HODL'r for life!

Another guy that runs some nodes is Cryptapus. Please don't forget to thank him for all the great work he has done for Uno. Go out to Cryptap.us/uno/ and take advantage of all the cool stuff he has built for us, including a port of Electrum wallet for Uno, which I use every day.

Tips for his projects can go to ucrYPTxQPKkb2WTU57PjurHbCHf3rACMJh

He also powers Uno dice games and 3 block explorers in addition to his Electrum servers.

Thanks for the vote of confidence.
Clearly, we are not married  Grin

Just FYI on the nodes, something I've noticed.  Even though they are located around the world in AWS data centers, sometimes they show up sometimes as being in the USA.

Here's a few of our nodes showing in the coinexchange.io node list.

Sing and Aus are correct, but the node titled eu-central is showing as US, when it's actually Frankfurt, Germany. I guess its not an exact science.

The nodelist project conjoins a few interests.  1st, an altcoins need for stable nodes, 2nd is the goal to enhance Uno's network with community trusted nodes,  3rd is my fetish to accumulate Uno today while writing off server expenses to my company, 4th is providing some price support for Uno, and 5th is just having fun with all of this.

So the deal again for altcoins looking for steady nodes is that we go in on it together. You sponsor a Uno node for a year at my cost ($5-$6/mo for most regions, $10/mo for Brazil for whatever reason), pay for it in UNO, I'll manage it and piggyback your altcoin on the server.  Our interests are merged, and everyone wins.

So far we are in Singapore, Australia, N. California USA, Ireland and Germany.
I'd love to add next  India, Japan/Korea, Eastern USA.
