PR/Uno testnet is running. As a test, I successfully transferred a few PR from Cryptopia to my windows wallet. I am also receiving PR/test coins from mining the Wmikrut.com pool.

All is not perfect, though. It takes work to connect my Windows wallet to Cryptapus' nodes, whether I am using Uno testnet or PR wallet.
It just doesn't seem to discover nodes on the network.  The problem seems worse with the Windows wallet, from what I am reading.
Until someone smart and trusted volunteers to recompile the Windows wallet with new nodes or fixed upnp, I'm not sure how much further I can take it.

The good news is PR now has a pool, exchange, explorer and a pair of nodes (all running Linux, I think).  Bad news the Windows wallet does not easily connect to the network. If you need to move coins to a PR address where you control the private key, this probably a good time.

I know cryptopia appreciates what we're doing. Hex wrote "the good guys over at the UNO community stepped up to sort the mess out and get the PR network moving again."  

Its hard to find a good dev, and nothing underscores that more than when they step away for a while.  Operating a coin is a collaborative effort.  We learned that with Uno when it looked dead to HC, and now we see it again with PR. There are a lot of services that go into keeping a coin alive. If HC wants to change his mind based on the revived interest he's seen here, I for one would welcome him back  Otherwise, I'll do what I can between Uno activities to keep PR up.

I can confirm testnet is moving albeit slowly. In order not to install source for both binaries, I simply replaced the `-testnet` entries with Prototanium. 

She seems to average over 2,000 views -- 2.5c per viewer isn't too bad? Does she accept $UNO?

A couple days ago in the Poloniex chatbox (& this thread) I was griping about all of the failed coins they have listed (while not listing Unobtanium). People in the chat were giving me a hard time about it, but today Poloniex announced that they are de-listing 12 coins! Does this mean they will be replacing them with active coins? Now is the time to make your voice heard!

I wonder if my statements actually made a difference or if it was a coincidence. I was saying that having coins like URO listed damages their otherwise stellar reputation, & that it wasn't a good business decision to keep 0 volume coins listed while ignoring potentially robust markets such as Unobtanium. I'm sure it was just a coincidence, what I was saying is so obvious it would have been recognized by the folks running the exchange.

Is UNO hashrate increasing as old bitcoin hardware moves away from Bitcoin due to the skyrocketing btc hashrate?

The PR wallet works for me.  I'm running it now. I wouldn't think you would have to do this, but I deleted the PR (UNO Testnet3) blockchain and download
again.

Btw, Hex @cryptopia says he'll try to restore withdrawals in the next 24 hours.

I'm running Uno testnet. I start the Uno wallet by starting it as  "unobtanium-qt.exe -testnet"

PR works for me after I went to the console and typed:   

addnode 75.19.27.27:65525 add

WMIKRUT.COM now has a PR pool up. I rented a little hash for the next 15 days to keep it moving.

Sorry guys, but I've given up with PRO, again. The doze wallet is useless & the NIX wallet is using way too much cpu so I've stopped them.

Wmikrut says he will be able to setup a PR pool. He has already mined a block. That's a oood sign.  Jimmy at Cryptocointalk is going to reactivate the PR thread.  Cryptopia is trying to reactivate withdrawals. Its been a group effort, and fun working with everyone to bring it back. When HC finds his way back to Uno and PR, things will be running well for him.

It somehow got turned into a profit thing. It's nothing much as it is now .... has potential if the two coins were built from the same makefile, allowing for some cross-chain goodies. That's a project for another day.

I'm a bit confused, I didn't think Proto was ever for a profit motive. Isn't it used to test something on the $UNO chain?

@edgar, no BW had nothing to do with PR. It was launched by HC.

BW is in contact with me, almost weekly. He is still active and interested with Uno.

CaptChadd was not involved with PR.

i'll leave my wallet open, see if it updates, if i does, well you get the promised PRoto 2!

regarding seed node, if it is not profitable to maintain after 90 days, just present a bill, i'm sure that can be covered.
