I'm as non-thrilled as anybody about how Bryce didn't deliver the wallets in time, but technically he doesn't owe us anything. He moved UNO to a newer codebase and brought us MM, even if it had rough edges, probably cost FK some gray hair and all of us some lost sleep. We've come through this stronger IMO. And believe me, we won't be stopping anytime soon.

This is exactly why I love UNO. ZERO premine, nothing but a coin that does what it is supposed to do without a lot of hype that no one has time for anymore.

i still can't, for the life of me, figure out why bryce forked UNO and then just abandoned it, without releasing wallets, and without saying anything to anyone about it.

i really wish Blazr2 could just take the helm on this and make it right.

or maybe we just haven't given him enough UNO?

come tell us, Blazr, how much will it take to get you to check in and do a little maintenance every 6-8 months?  name your price.

It is a fairly simple, straightforward process if you have ever done any networking. If you have the server running you should be able to browse to .bit names in your browser straightaway.

Or you can do it the lazy way with a web proxy and just add .no.com to the end of your domains, eg.   bitcoin.bit.no.com

I minded the namecoin .. ... i got a .bit name and some id/s ... not sure how to get em working yet but looking forward to learning ... i and used mined bitcoin to get UNO ... was thinking of switching from mining BTC to UNO but now its merged & the hash rate / difficulty are going up and uno rewards low i figure best thing to do at the mo is mine BTC and convert to UNO while its at low price

I was pleased to read that you purchased Namecoin. It is a severely undervalued coin, and not just in price. The DNS is rather fun to play with one you have it set up.

 IS there a reason that BLAZR2 should love us?

I don't know why microscope design was remove  from the wallet. Where is the KG metrics ?

 I like the previous design much more. This wallet work just fine ,but design are zero. Like for some shit coin. Un is far from that.

 I did not seen the look on the new wallet until now. But if U think we can stay with this non design wallet then something is wrong with you guys.

 200 kg. for Blasr2 if he shows up an do some design and  help. I am sure he can accumulate more in the future if he stay around our community . why he is unhappy with us? Is somebody know what is the problem?...after all he create this coin!

Welcome!  And congratulations on your discovery of Uno.  There's a lot of crypto noise out there. But it seems that people who take the time to understand Uno really come to like it.

I see your logic.  Once we have translations on the net, we are on the net in Chinese.

We can take a bit of time to identify that entrepreneur, and at the same time we (I will) write and article or 3 or 5 to be passed to our trusted translator and figure out a way into the good outlets there.  Maybe with YOUR STUDENTS.  Maybe it's homework.  Maybe they have an English lesson about crypto and you want to show them concretely there's money in this...and we pass them UNO or BTC...

Just brainstorming tonight while awaiting more bids, and more back and forth with them.

I have proof readers.  5-10 UNO can get verification that the translation is on the level from 2-3 sources.

The next key is finding persons willing to promote on forums/QQ. (marketers)

Another stray thought on strategy given the:

1.  Dearth of translators who want to take the entrepreneurial risk of the bounty to promote and;

2.  The reality that both Bter and BTC38 require voting to get listed.


We may have to handle, again through translators with backup proofing by @pnoch writing articles and just getting local assistance in getting them posted.  Continue to use the translator we are happy with.

We may have to pay by the word to get our Twitter feed posted on Weibo.  But it's just a "re-framing" of the wage into "per word".

We are way under budget for the primary translation with the first two bids, from favorited candidates in the door.  There is room for this before we hit the "Bounty" fund.  Maybe there won't be a bounty.

Maybe there will just be us writing Don Draper style, paying pennies to get it translated, and asking @pnoch, or perhaps our translator to monitor the feedback we are getting.  Remuneration to be discussed.

I'm trying to adapt to what I am learning.  I know what we are capable of, and the limitations of using "hired guns" for piecework...but I think we have an overall budget to go pretty far on our own if we can't find a marketer.

Daniel might be the best translator.  The second guy, I believe, says he can do SEO.  So perhaps we can get two new team members, if they are made to feel welcome here.
