Don't be frightened by our 194 UNO sell order at 0.0063 - Bleutrade
Trade was removed after partial fill.

that one dances a lot

Now it's back.

It's tough to do someone a favor, when they are busy playing games.

let him dance all he wants. We got time enough. Maybe  put up fake sellorders to bid him down to speed it up?

Once this round of sellers have parted from their coins it's going to FLY

You are misreading, gustav. That's our sell order, which is gathered at 0.0065 rate according to Coinpayments' calculation.
So in theory, we may have a loss but the fact is, we break even if we sell at 0.0062.. because Turkish Bitcoin market is generally 4-8% high above global BTC market.
By that, we can also sell high & buy low and sell low & buy high.. In other words, Uno is tied with Turkish Lira.

edit: Arbitragers are welcome in Turkish market if you would like to sell BTC to us. Minimum amount: 20 BTC
edit2: Do not buy a plane for that. We've already got one to take you, exclusively! Smiley

I must say i am pretty happy about all the selling right now. Imagine we would have had that on higher prices. It's very good to get those sellers out early.

I think someone is trying to test our funds. There are some cheap coins out there which is not our orders.
Okay, there was a problem at Cryptsy. Our account balance shows minus now but we hope it'll be resolved soon. Afterwards, we will buy those cheap UNOs.
Thank you sellers in advance.

I have a negative UNO balance at Cryptsy too, but I think it's a combination of whatever their glitch was and me being sleepy.

I woke up in the wee hours of the morning and went and checked Cryptsy, saw a buy order for 50 UNOs I had made a day or so earlier had been filled.

Cool.  I transferred those 50 UNOs to my local wallet.  Or so I thought.  As I said, it was the wee hours of the morning.

I went and checked on a couple of other things (probably this forum, twitter, who-knows-what) then came back to look at the Cryptsy UNO chart again.

It showed in my Cryptsy balance I still had those same 50 UNOs.  "Damn, I thought I had transferred those to my local wallet!"  So I withdrew it once again, paying careful attention this time.

Except I hadn't checked my local wallet, beforehand.  Wee-hour stuff.

Then I checked my local wallet.  Damned if I didn't all of a sudden have 100 new UNOs in it!

Ok, this is getting weird.

I went back to Cryptsy and STILL had 50 UNOs available for withdrawal!!!

Then I saw a tweet from BigVern -- posted just 4 minutes earlier (this was around 5 am by now I think) -- that they were having problems with their deposits & withdrawals.

I decided it would be best to go back to bed.

When I got back up, my local wallet still had the same 100 new UNOs (50 of which hadn't made any sense), but my Cryptsy UNO balance was now a negative 50 UNOs.  And there were a whole bunch of strange BTC and UNO transactions there that I just couldn't make sense of.

It makes sense that I can't just withdraw 50 UNOs from Cryptsy I didn't have, and that they somehow subsequently "adjusted the balance",  I've just never dealt with a negative UNO balance (or anything else) at Cryptsy, so I'm wondering what I need to do (besides opening up a support ticket -- sure wish there was a human there I could just call).

I've got enough BTC there to bring the UNO balance back up to zero, why can't they just "transfer the appropriate balance", based on the price at that point in time?

Anyway, I've got to pay bills, pack and get out of town for 2 weeks, so I'll just deal with this later.

coaex, your "minus balance at Cryptsy" caught my eye, and I figured I'd just throw it my 2 satoshis worth.  :-)

Yeah, we have around 194.11 UNO, make a withdrawal to Bleutrade. Transaction went smooth. But then, Cryptsy balance was showing the same amount - 194.11 UNO after the withdrawal. Contacted support, initiate a second withdrawal while informing that we're just testing in case of a fraudulent activity - and will transfer back if it's sent to the wallet automatically. Withdraw is confirmed but nothing came, which is usual. Then, Cryptsy balance showed minus 194.11 UNO. Contacted support once more to make it zero. And you know what response Cryptsy support gave to us? Nothing... Then we realised why people call them Craptsy.

According to our overall experiments with UNO in various exchanges:
Bleutrade : 8/10 (pros: easy to use interface, several alt-to-alt markets, well-established company, social / cons: no withdrawal confirmation by email, some transaction details are missing)
Bittrex : 6/10 (pros: well-established company, social / cons: hard to use interface)
Cryptsy: 4/10 (pros: are there any? / cons: hard to use interface, non-responsive support, high downtimes, BigVern, etc, etc...)

My Cryptsy balance seems correct.

And Coaex, IndiaMikeZulu will bust its hump to provide a conducive model for Uno merchants: currencies serve to facilitate financial transactions. Full stop.

Official Announcement and Request: We kindly request from UNO community to tighten the spread as much as possible to support merchants, including us.
We now have to apply 50% increment for UNO payments. Hopefully, that's a temporary measure. In rare circumstances where merchants are hurt by a spread, they start to disable altcoins.
In short, wide spreads is not good for any cryptocoin.

See CoinPayments' average calculation from here: https://www.coinpayments.net/supported-coins and check current bid/ask orders.
CoinPayments' Unobtanium: 0.00561839 BTC

By that 50% increment, you pay 0.008427585 UNO for 1 BTC worth of gold/silver (as of writing this post, CoinPayments' rate was USD 327.32878572).
We will make an additional announcement when we remove that 50% increment.

I took a look at coinking.io.  While they do indeed offer UNO mining, it looks like they don't offer payouts in UNO so you have get your payouts in BTC or some others.

Thats not true, you can auto convert to btc or keep the coins your mining. I have yet to sell any UNO I have mined and I have no intentions of selling anytime soon.

I wasn't talking about selling anything, I'm talking about auto payouts in UNO, not auto converting to BTC vs. just keeping on mining and accumulating one's UNO stash at coinking.

At miningpool.co, I have my payout trigger set to .5 UNOs (you can set it to whatever you want).  As soon as it's mined that much for me, it dumps those .5 UNOs into my local UNO wallet, Unobtanium-Qt -- the one I have running on my own PC.

No converting to something else to get those UNOs in my local wallet;  no keeping my UNO's "up there" where I have to go manually intervene to transfer to my pool's stash to my local wallet.

Coinking has auto payouts in BTC and 12 other coins, but not UNO.  If they add an UNO auto-payout option,  I may do say a 1-week test with my gear pointed at Coinking, then a 1-week test with it pointed at miningpool.co, then pick the better yielding of the two.

BTW, I see miningpool has finally fixed their stats page, which I've come to love!

I've been following UNO since April and I still see it as a must-have. Will never part ways with my original stash! OK, maybe I used the word "never" a bit too strongly... But... you know what I am saying.

This is one of the first cryptos to capitalize on a rather novel idea at the time (viewing virtual currencies as a store of wealth based on their "preciousness." Maybe the next UNO wallet could look a little bit more shiny and pimped out... You know, have a nice gold band for that diamond rock to sit in... Does that make any sense?

Anyway, congrats to all the UNO devs, especially Falling Knife, you guys really kept this thing going and I wish you success for 100 more years! Peace from HI,

Nutildah the Hungry

Here's a quote from Blazr2 that describes the block halving.

The only tiny thing I would tweak here (just for the record) is that we've seen that the halvings occur on the full 100,000th.

Here's block 500,000 https://chainz.cryptoid.info/uno/block.dws?0000000000000e8c9abf99b54350a546e6350443fb418db11205688fa09ab594.htm
You can see that the reward halving has occurred with this block,  and that the last block with the higher reward was 499,999

Sure. When we first launched Un, it was set up to make 6 halvings before hitting minimal reward, however as of version 0.9.1 that was revised to produce a meaningful number of coins until the 15th halving and then a minimal reward of .0001 that would persist for ever (or 51millionish blocks, whichever comes first). The breakdown is as so:

You can see Un will be mineable for a long time to come.

You seem to bee the authority on the half schedule Smiley

"This chart is incorrect because the halvings occur on the 100 thousandth blocks. The next will be at block 600,000.

There are 250k maximum Uno, so it will stop producing coins in about 300 years.  Blazr will be very, very old man, but he'll need to decide at that time if he should fork it to continue rewards. Smiley  But by the year 2314, we'll be mining petahashes on our ocular implant chips that are powered by excess fat cells, so keeping the network running at no reward shouldn't be a problem."

1. Can you clear the bit on the finally 'sustain' reward rate ... 0.0001?
2. Do you have the exact dates of the Halves? ... I'll create a more accurate .gif to post in the OP

I'm frustrated, Edgar, 'cause I am 'all in' at present, so I can't buy an cheap Uno. When is the next halving?

m
The next halving will occur around May 7, 2015.

102k blocks 212.5 day cycles

Then 0.0001 forevermore?
