Seems like a decent move Cheesy I never got involved with doge. Although i can't help but read little snippits about it doing pretty decent lately. I have been in the process of narrowing my holdings. With the amount of coins being released it becomes more and more painfully evident that it takes a lot for a coin to survive and be worth anything.

250k uno only, ever created.

Regards Wink

btc-e trollbox
a: "200btc buy on stamp"
b: "dude, that's the emission of 3 hours"

... it's actually far less. 200 btc created every 90 minutes

buying the emission of uno of a whole day for less than 0.15 btc is actually a joke. But it's a good one. Halving coming.

Can't stay like that. You think running uno network is as cheap as that? Nooo, these token are a steal at these prices.

It might take some time, but keep an archive copy of all the UNO threads for historic purposes.  Just in case.  Wink

I would like to set up a public P2 Pool for UNO in California,(for us west coasters who would like to save on latency) I have a Dell R410 server at my disposal. However I have never set up a P2pool. I have browsed the "how to's" re: P2 pool set up, and get the gist of it, but would love a little guidance. So anyone interested in helping me with a walkthrough please do.

The system has windows 2008 server software 8 cpu cores and 4 GB RAM hopefully this is sufficient. Ultimately a merged mining P2 would be ideal but lets start here, thanks. Smiley

Bitcoin at us$377 and there's $UNO on offer at Cryptsy for less than .005,  us$1.83 equivalent.

Nice Uno buy opportunity for new money!

Just a plug and a reminder that you can sell stuff for Uno on UnbreakableCoinAuctions. They allow you list items in $UNO.

There's an emerging ecosystem around UNO now. Support it if you're able!

(I'm only on page 129, after scanning these latter pages, and I read a little slowly.)....

It's becoming apparent that there is supression of cryptocurrencies by the authorities, (bankers, et. al.,) and by those scumbags contracted by them to hammer everything down like playing whack-a-mole.  Unfortunately, the reality of how exchanges actually work is hitting me, too.  The trades aren't on the blockchain.  This makes it easy for slippery transactions like gox did, ...for any crypto.  Plus, a majority of traders don't know what they are doing, so exchanges and sharks get their coins when they sell larger quantities of real or fake coinage, and the noobs panic sell, etc.  Fractional reserve cryptocurrency'ing.

STORE YOUR COINS OFF OF THE EXCHANGES

This is how we fight the overall manipulation.  When coins are suddenly 'stolen' from exchanges, yeah, might be a hack, but it might also be a gox scam, where the exchanges trading fake coins finally run out and can't fill withdrawals (of real coins back onto the blockchains) fast enough.

Uno is significantly undervalued right now, especially in light of the low new coinage mined, so we would bounce back.  ...Even from a cryptsy 20% dump.  Wink

This is also why our in-house exchange is so awesome, because, while trust will always be an issue, at least all trades are directly on blockchains.  The coins are real.

I truly think people in the cryptoworld are getting scared of UNO's success.  Keep mindful of this.  The immediate demonization by trolls, and that thread removal support this thinking.  People outside of the Unobtanium community probably wouldn't be so insecure if BTC was performing better.  Might even carefully remind them of that to wake them up.

i could be reading too much into this based on your response, and i can def understand how mine might have been taken as short and therefore disapproving. It was not though, i support it! I hit them up on twitter after ya posted it Wink What i meant by, all that it does... , is that it is a nice simple little way to expand the reach of Uno, it is also good as if there happens to be a heavy use, proving why usd markets should exist is THAT much easier Smiley

thanks for supporting.
Example: a new investor from europe comes in tomorrow asking where he can buy for euro it'll be better to point him to the euro-market than telling him to loose money on tradingfees to bitcoin and hold bitcoin for some time which is likely to also loose him more money right now. I can only see advantages with a euro exchange since there isn't one yet. It's a missing stone in the house of the ecosystem Wink
Europe is a small market for crypto compared to cny and usd, but it is a market. Wink
Better having one than none. Will be more convenient for people to deposit fiat to an exchange and buy uno directly than buying btc on one exchange and pay fees for trade and then fees for transactions to the next exchange. That can make up to 1% and they have the additional downside risk that comes with bitcoin during the time they send it around.
To make buying uno for people as convenient as possible is a good mission i think.

Doesn't take marketshare from the USD-exchanges. Europeans will want to trade uno to fiat too Wink

The only issues i think one could take with Uno being on a lot of exchanges is that the trade volumes will look a little thin given the nature of the coin. If exchanges are okay with this, it is not an issue.

All it does it provide those who want to purchase Uno in that manner an opportunity to do so.

i think uno/euro doesn't take volume from any other place. It just ads volume. If that market is low volume, ok, no problem. Can change any day though. Maybe demand is bigger than we think and the fiat-market in euro is an instant success. Who knows? Better to have a euro-market than having none at all is what i think. Maybe it ony makes 50 or 100 Euro at first. But when it's there and people know about it, it can make a lot more. If its not there it can't. Not having a euro or cny market is not better than having one i think. Wink
At least one market for every fiat-currency would be a good thing, i think.
Saves people fees too. You pay more when you go fiat -> btc -> uno than when you go fiat -> uno directly.

A small euro market on a small but nice euro-exchange will not do any damage Wink Things can always grow.

'‘ 'Unobtanium’ is a small-cap crypto. It eschews the foxtail-on-the-aerial approach, focussing solely on being a ‘crypto-commodity’ — a store of wealth. It is succeeding. Only one Top Sixty coin more than weeks old is doing better than Uno, but that coin is both unstable and slipping in price.'

Your opinions, please, guys. I can write (better-researched) articles like this on a regular basis. Would that be helpful?

MintPal is under a nasty ddos attack today, so trading  Unobtanium there may be difficult or impossible until they get that under control.

I liked that article! It was nice. Lots of information, not much opinion. That is how they should be, imo. Good work man! I am a nerd for researching things of interest to me, so articles that are informative and explain a lot are always gonna be favorable. The only thing about the article was "the china thing", i think that might confuse a lot of people if they weren't around when china was impacting the price so much. Or so the claims were, never looked at the data, didn't care much in regards to WHO was causing the spike. A little more info on that woulda been nice. "the china thing, for those who don't know.. blah blah blah" Other than that little weeny gripe i think it is a fine article! At the same time though, it appears to be written for people who have read things you have wrote in the past, so the explanation of the china situation is most likely not needed, as you have most likely talked about that.

we need fiat-exchange. bitcoin is in danger of tanking very badly. I'll be asking around. Let's see if we can get one going.
Altmarket.com is a US exchange that seems likely to add Uno/Usd within a few months. Keep an eye on Altmarket.com.

Cryptsy has USD capability today, so you can ask them for a UNO/USD pairing through a support request.

If you want it today, you could add votes for Uno at C-cex or Bleutrade. Both trade in USD, but as far as I know they don't allow deposits for Usd.

My bet is that Altmarket will come through for Uno.

If Btc does tank badly, then it's going to be an exciting time to acquire Uno with Btc, at a low cost vs dollar. The dollar market will come, just don't miss the larger opportunity that may be upon us.

I can see there being more work having a coin/usd pairing than just a coin/coin pairing. The issue i have with Altmarket is that Uno is the star coin in my eyes. I am 99% sure that isn't the case for those developing the market though. The site will need to do what it has to do to generate traffic and offer some type of services others can't get else where. I sincerely hope though that it is at the forefront of the queue of things to get done Smiley
