guys, 1000 uno dropped didn't move the price down one bit

There's lots of reasons to show your hand.

Might just be signaling to stall the price so he can accumulate more.

Then again, maybe he wants you post your best price so he can sell into your buy wall.

If he wanted to shove it down to .001 he could have, and then bully for the low bids. Any of us could do that, but unless you really need to pay your rent, what's the point.

.005 is still too cheap imo, but sometimes people need to get out, and there's a great opportunity to buy. But a ton is nothing to be scared of.

If I had been around and had more time, I could offered him a better price. I count on this sort of thing happening to lower my average cost. Oh well, my kids really needed to go that "pumpkin fest" parade today.

cryptsy wallet is indeed a bit worrying. You gotta ask yourself why they don't buy more cheap to lower their average entry, but you know. Most people aren't that smart.

Try to get coins out of cryptsy rather than sending them there. Far too many in that wallet. If vern decides to play a prank in a rally we are screwed. So better get some coins out of there.

It'll be important for us to trade it as decentral as possible to protect the price.

If you are right and the wallet is this big because of the many bagholders, well they held it until now, they will not dump it later. They'll have their sellorders up on high level, wich is just fine.

Maybe we have to take a bathroombreak at a wall later and eat through slowly, but that's not an issue.

I am glad this is a concern of yours as well. My biggest issue is, i am fairly confident in my thoughts, that when uno hits @ .008 we are going to see some heavy action in that cryptsy wallet. I feel like a lot of people bought into it with the wolong thing, well more than a feeling, the charts, and the volumes then, you had nearly the entire supply of uno being traded on the daily... but yeah, i think a lot of people wound up buying into the fracas thinking there were going to be quick returns and are now still waiting an exit.

I really hope i am wrong, but i have to entertain possible scenarios. Even still, it isn't an issue if the uno is entering the hands of those who truly want it. I just don't think we are going to get to an ATH until we get cryptsy sorted. It is the elephant in the room, imo. There isn't anything we can do but speculate, which is what makes it so frustrating.

I do agree on the irony there, people don't care to buy it at 2 bucks a coin, but if it were 200 a coin, i think people would have a lot more interest 

never dump uno - no matter how high the price is. Sell it like a man in small amounts above marketlevel. Never sell a coin below marketprice.

Never panic and remove some coins from cryptsy so vern isn't going to shortsell your coins.

Don't store large amounts of coins at exchanges to protect the price.

that's what i say, especially since bitcoin suffers from the inflation so much. It'll be easy to show people why uno is better.

It's all about not crashing it this time. It can grow very big.

If everybody would limit themselves to trading maximum 100 Uno in a trade and not selling more than 200 in a day, we can do it.

These low bitcoin prices are just the perfect opportunity to buy Un. It's difficult when btc is skyrocketing and Un doesn't follow. But now... timing is perfect.

sure. You are one of the few who actually see the potential. I'll be waiting a few days since i already own enough uno, but if nobody else wants them, i'll be taking them. Uno won't be stagnating, no worries.

I'm counting on a little dumping on Cryptsy.  I'm not selling anything below 005, but I am actively buying right now.
I like this long upward trend we're on. A few dips to the downside is healthy.  Every long journey has some bathroom breaks.

Final warning

Mprep, the mod for the Alternate Cryptocurrencies form, has a tough job. He's trying to clean up trolls who would otherwise totally overrun this board. He see hundreds of spammy posts  daily, and he doesn't really have time to engage deeply on freedom of speech issues. I spent a little time reading his recent posts, and I would not want the job of moderating a section on btctalk.  Not saying at all that your post deserved to be binned -- it looked pretty good to me -- just saying the mod here has a difficult job and so there can be (and often is) collateral damage on this forum. It's just a fact of life here.  Once in awhile something good gets tossed out with the trash. It's inevitable.

Bitcoin makes a lot of things possible for Uno.  Lets keep politely telling our story (I got feedback recently that the Uno community now has the rep of being a friendly bunch of established traders), and eventually the facts will get out.

Remember that our story about the established & vetted 1 year old cryptocurrency (UNO) is one tiny story coming out of an altcoin firehose that is about 90% spam/scam right now. The mods here know this and are worried about containing it.  Don't be offended if people are skeptical or don't "get it" right away. They'll get it in the end.  A year from now, Uno will still be on the front page of CMC, and 90% of what's there now will have slid down the ladder far below Uno.  

I agree, and I wouldn't lodge a protest. It wouldn't help. He has even less time to adjudicate appeals than he has to judge whether a post is spam/scam.  Just take it as a feedback.
