The miniscule merchant-development project we're considering is principally an exercise in coin-wholesaling.

#UNO utilized as base pair in recent hours ... that's what it do ... that's the utility.

I am an UNO base digital coin trader:

Reason 1: inflation << all other base pairs have inflation
Reason 2: easy to bring it home << light weight block chain, stable/strong network stats
Reason 3: +3years, proven tech, proven 'decent' support team/dev, and soon 700 page thread Wink

Steady trickle of volume here, but it doesn't show up on Coinmarketcap.

'But i can't emphasize it enough, We need to go out and embrace new alternative ways to bring attention to UNO, The conventional methods most coins use are not giving anyone the levels of adoption they want, we need to use Social Media and Real life a LOT more.'

Blue Man, post above

I am thrilled to see this said aloud. Just an hour ago, I wrote in a PM to Falling Knife that we must ' . . . expand and adapt .  . . '

Note: I don't want Unobtanium's price to either rise nor fall. What could be more attractive, over time, to newcomers and long-timers alike than a place where their 'cryptovalue' won't dissipate*? That is 'store of value'!!

*And bought and sold in large quantities P2P at margins similar to far 'larger' coins.

I agree with @IMZ. There's is so much noise out there.  Since UNO was launched, many new people have come into Crypto.  Most of them have never even heard of UNO.

Case in point....  Here's a Twitter exchange from yesterday.   Someone thought that Bryce Weiner had abandoned UNO.  Bryce responded saying he is still very much interested in UNO and still engaged, watching over the network.   Bryce did not launch UNO (Blazr2 did) but he was interested in UNO for the same reasons many of us are. What we do with that network and how we make it valuable is up to us.

(read this from the bottom up)

UNO is an open source community, after all.  Anyone is welcome to contribute. Bryce has said in the past he welcomes contributions from other devs.  He's still with UNO's community, even after 3 years, just like me and many of you.

UNO has a lot of great things going for it:
An active developer
High hashrate
Will pay miners for 300 years
Basecoin on Cryptopia.co.nz exchange
Widely traded on other established exchanges
Traded on a decentralized p2p exchange
Stable blockchain
Stable clients
Great wallet support (Electrum, QT, JSwallet, Android client, Coinomi multicoin, etc)
Cryptap.us games and tools
Longevity, launched in 2013 and now strong in its 4th year
Still has an active community (would like to see it grow)
Has avoided by death-by-exchange several times
No pre-mine, fair distribution of coins,  public launch, super low inflation
3x faster than Bitcoin

UNO is a secure, rock solid blockchain and we welcome developers to make use of it.

Yes things could be better. Things could always be better. Can you help make things better?

I like to think of UNO as one of the "permanent" cryptocurrencies.  This coin has staying power and people who are about it. It will be here for it's 4th birthday and beyond even well thousands of other blockchains rise and burn.  This one will continue.

@Coinweaver,

Please consult your lawyers first.

But if you want to do some radical coding.

Example, change the .jpg from yellow to blue.

You are welcome to hardforkish the UNO network, just as long as it isn't an actual HF.

WHo is this directed at? I don't see a post from anyone named coinweaver? Cheesy

His last post seems to be 2014 so not sure. Cheesy
