Man, I wish I could see a real-time graphing of the DVC value.  That would really be something to study.

Actually, having that graph would probably add more value to UNO, too, come to think about it.  We'll have to shelve the idea for now, though, I'm sure....

You're right, Benefactor: http://indiamikezulu.com.au/506/welcome-to-un-ex

And (bearing in mind that Benefactor oversaw a successful use of a blockchain as a voting-system last year) . . . this idea of votes for processes being cast by those holding certain pledged amounts . . . ?

We should think about how such a system might eventually be embedded in the's Mall decision-making processes. Where trust has been established, it's an efficient mechanism, isn't it?

I also support Benefactor's proposal.

Great job guys, I like that the 'welcome' spiel is slowly evolving to a progressively more lay-friendly and concise format. It's a work in progress but this latest explanation is pretty good, IMZ.

Blazin604, if you have questions after IMZ's explanation here, please do ask. It's helpful feedback as we work on simplifying the approach to this project. Your feedback is important! Thanks Smiley

Trade-Tracker: its a work in progress but I'm going to implement an update soon that makes everything a bit more straightforward. It'll include a Help/About page. I'm about 8 hours' work from completing it but will hopefully be this week now I'm back on deck. Keep up the great work, all!

IMZ (Mark), you've got to start saving copies of your explanation posts, so you don't have to type them out over and over.  Maybe even an index.  I'd be glad to use thread Post#2 for an Index and maintain it.

-Already started to edit it for this purpose.
-Anyone can suggest a post # to add the the Index
-Got a post with an explanation of DVC or TT status or Core-tanium?  Let me know the post #
-Suggestions welcome!

Welcome, Blazin!

One: 'Un-ex' is Unobtanium's in-house exchange. It's trust-based -- unhackable. We trade a growing range of coins etc here.

Two: Un-Ex has an in-community currency. It's truly unique, and an extension of the trust-network experiment.

Three: we are working on two other projects. The first involves buying newly-mined coin from miners at a premium. It is an expression of our serious intention to secure Uno's future. The second is an 'anti-dump' movement. We have begun pledging sums of Btc as 'ammo' to fight dumps if and when they happen.

Four: all these things are stepping-stones to 'The Mall' What is this Mall?

It is an enterprise, driven by the truly active members of this community, that will create a number of crypto-world 'loops' that will eventually bring flows of cryptos into the mall, of which we will be a sort of 'Centre-Management' alliance. (We've launched this as well -- tje  'liquidity engine.')

Why? because Uno will become harder and harder to buy . . . but at the same time, we want to develop a merchant network. So, we are gonna be one place where Uno merchants can just walk in and sell large chunks of coin at the going rate. This puts that coin back into the core community.

If ya wanna get your toes wet, have a look here:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14hftnJ_crV9flLcUKaPqwEfTLKJme3R8jVeUJtudQSw/edit#gid=1907792380

Then buy the 10 Uno for sale -- '1177' That gets you a (one-star) Trusted Trader status

And if this all sounds a bit Mickey Mouse, it isn't! We've bootstrapped this exchange up over months. A TT can waltz in here and sell a thousand Uno, at the going rate, straight into safe hands. It's a thriving crypto-theory lab supported by businesses, Hero Members, long-term crypto geeks, bullion enthusiasts, and miners; and we expect to eventually make a very great deal of money from it, and protect Unobtanium in the process.

Welcome!

I propose 1 person, 1 vote, in the use of Core-tanium in fighting the War of Liquidity!

I think now that the precedence has been set and 4 of us are already involved, I propose a person needs 0.10 BTC minimum or $25 equivalent, whichever is smaller, to have a vote.

...Please do speak up, if there are bad ideas with this proposal.

My First Thought:

several 'trailblazers' do as I did, and post a wallet address in which they pledge to have available a stated sum of Bitcoin -- parallel to the liquidity pledges! This data will go into The Daily Post, with the data on liquidity pledges etc.

Then we can tinker with multi-sig wallets if they are deemed to be the next logical step -- but they just might not be. Or perhaps a mix.

Bottom line, though, B.C.:

think big; 'trailblaze' (Proof of Concept); keep respectfully talking; make mistakes; fix the mistakes; get perfect.

(Check the trade-tracker! Wow! Is it only a coupla months since DVC was Hedges on a Register!)

Woo hoo! Benefactor has donated 10 Uno to the nascent Core-tanium project. The 10 shall be (giggle) converted to Bitcoin:

Trade Core-tanium 001 I will sell 10 Uno for .1 Btc
@IMZ I'm confused. If I want to to make a contributino to Core-tanium, do I send you the BTC / $UNO or simply keep it in a wallet to show that it is in there and broadcast the address?

I thought that I sent it to your address?

Trade offer: I'll offer 19kg UNO to buy 1 DVC from you Benefactor's Bursar has sent 1 DVC to cragv

[Will Btc crash again in price? sending DVC's price soaring? Will the global economy disappear under a massive mound of small green rectangles of paper? Will Uno become the new global reserve currency? Stay tuned!]

Okay. The gist of Posts 1164 and 1165 are up for seconding as policy:

one family may have one account, Verified as usual (and in Ian's case, he will need a second Nxt wallet).

And having gotten the DVC-issue policy issue in hand, let's recall our tech-support commitment. If anyone turns up here to trade, certainly younger people who could be doing far far worse stuff, let's fall over ourselves to welcome them.

m
I second this policy.

In the future, we should definitely revisit the family policy, because I see families as being one of the best ways to rapid expansion of many projects.  I also think the family angle would actually be more effective in the earlier stages of crypto advancements, so we shouldn't wait too long.  Probably not even 6 months, or even 4, before we bring this up, again, JIMHO.

I don't mind if Ian earns 2 DVC.  I'd almost give him a freebie for being bursar, but due to the limited issue of discreet DVC's, this would be an assymetrically excessive payment.

Maybe we should wait a few days for more people to see this, and even get this policy thirded from someone, please, before taking any action on the new policy.
