Good morning, Un-Ex! Keep trading!

@ Edgar -- your trade is on the trade-ticker, which we will all work out together; but we have volume, momentum!

@ Bitcoin National -- your trade is also on the trade-ticker.

@ DVC2: morning, B.N.! Keep theorising,  but I am losing sleep over this Nxt wallet thing. Almost all of 'DVC2' is in DVC, and I will work really really really really hard to get you set up with an Nxt wallet. Can Ian PM you, to help you set it up?

'Pegged' coins:
a pegged coin is one that supposedly has a fixed exchange rate. It doesn't work. Ask the Bank of England (beaten by Soros). Ask the Swiss just one day ago. Ask the Russians. Ask the Suharto regime in Indonesia in '98 (I was there). You can say a coin has a fixed rate -- but when the s##t hits the fan . . . it doesn't work.

@ The New Trade-Ticker:
guys, this project is going very very well. cragv will be back in a day. (He's coming home from holidays.) He will up-date the ticker.

@ Awesome Stuff This Week: cragv and I have two trades set up for this week. Watch this space.

I dont have paypal anymore, they kept freezing my account so I shut it down.  Its amazing how they could freeze an account with 5-10$ for suspicious behavior??
paypal scares me to0

(got nearly a 10 year track record with them with no issues BUT according to their terms my business type is not allowed so I could get frozen too -- but because I make them money they ignore their own 'terms'.)

That said I will buy in paypal $2.25 for up to 100kg*
PM
*good until Monday 19th 10-to-midnight UTC
**not smart enough to post on the new spreadsheet, sorry

=========================
I would really like a publicly traded DVC2:

1 DVC2 = 1 oz Silver delivered to your door
1 DVC2 = 10 uno

we then start to roll the price to buy in uno methodically
1 DVC2 =  9.75 uno
1 DVC2 =  9.5 uno
1 DVC2 =  9.25 uno
1 DVC2 =  9.0 uno
and keep a pretty chart

Terms
--It would take 5-10 serious uno investors and it's done.  Basically WIPing but drop shipping silver to whoever orders (so we need guys in every major region).
---We can say holders with 100kg in UNO equity get free ship or reduced premium or some benefit

**this is in my thought stream because UNO is in a price where we can say 10 uno = 1 oz silver ... FOREVER ... this gives UNO a solid par value (ABN backing) of 19300 oz of silver no?

@ Repunza: We all vouch for you, R.

http://indiamikezulu.com.au/454/list-of-trusted-traders/

@ Benefactor: IMZ is sympathetic to Repunza's situation. In many countries, getting your hands on cryptos is difficult and expensive.

The 'national chapters' thing is our great hope: networks of people in the same country using Internet-banking and face-to-face meets (and ?) to buy and sell coin and bullion. Then Mr. PayPal can go jump.

Overall, hate Paypal with a passion for stealing my crypto, probably in an inside job, it seems.  Too many coincidences, so the thieves have to be related.  I also hate them for selective discrimination on people, capital controls, etc.

I've been tempted to make some UNO trades on there, though, but haven't.  Phew, still have some willpower~!

I would prefer nobody on the In-House use Paypal, and I don't want the association, but I understand that it apparently is the most convenient/cheapest method for some people/situations, so this is all JIMHO, and congrats on being able to facilitate your own commerce.  Do what cha' got to do, I guess.

Sure, it pretty much works with trusted traders on a pragmatic analysis.

Well IMZ can vouch for me... Debit and Paypal are the only quick funding method I have.

As long as paypal is used between trusting parties, the only really crappy part are the fees involved imo. There are no fees involved if using personal transfers from bank accounts. If you use a credit card for your transfers there are fees. Read the fee schedules and only send to people you have a pretty good feeling aren't gonna flag you as a nonshipper and you should be okay. Just my opinion.

I thought it might be worth opening a discussion regarding paypal.

As everyone knows payal is rife for scam within the crypto community.

Just wanted a broader idea of how people feel about it as a tool within the UN-Ex ecosystem.
I've used it for personal and business purposes for years. Their fees are unreasonable but in over several hundred transactions I have yet to endure a single fraudulent event.

Am happy to use it here. Certainly helps bridge the geological gap between traders with different fiat currencies, albeit with unreasonably high conversion fees.

The fraud comes from customers. Using stolen credit cards or just making claims of no delivery.
PayPal does not currently offer any protection for the seller regarding digital goods.

I think my Post 1008 is a fine answer to Mike's 1009.

Whatever, it is time for a big push for DVC.

Woo hoo. Here I am. Smartphone data is expensive. What a day to be off the air!

And: lil ol' Un-Ex is looking like a solution to a bunch of problems

So, if you need holders, how do I get my hands on DVC then?
Mike, I think Mark started to address this for you, here:   https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.10064154

It doesn't exactly answer your question, though.

Mark usually handles the specifics with cookie-cutter replies.  (I wonder if he's got a cut-n-paste for that?)

I'm probably forgetting something, but...

1.  Trade on here.  At least a few transactions for quite a few UNO/other.  Earns 'stars', familiarity with you as a trader, so you can step towards TT status.  "Trusted Trader".  If you don't like what's on offer, make your own offers, of course!!!  Be sure to post an offer # of your own designation.  Also enter the offer in on the Trade Tracker spreadsheet, and update it, if you accept someone else's offer.  Since you don't have enough trading status, you will send your coin first to Trusted Traders with more public trades than you (quantity of crypto/number of trades/etc.)  You might break up larger trades, if the other person agrees.

2.  Post two images of two ounces of silver bullion for each DVC you want issued to you, so 4 ounces if you want the 2 DVC max.  The photos need to have your logon handle showing on the screen behind your silver photographed at 2 different angles.  You have to keep all 4 ounces on hand.  You can't sell them or anything.  You can be called upon at any time to present them, again, with some current temporal proof.  Being a part of this comes with responsibilities!

3.  Wait a couple of weeks or more while you are trading on this in-house exchange.

4.  Huh Take a photo kissing a duck or something.  (Just kidding.)

-

Anyway, please reply to this message, so I know you actually read it, and I didn't waste my time putting it together, thanks.
