speed does not really matter as much as privacy and security. people would rather prefer to pay securely and privately than quickly. im waiting for darkpp until then il be selling to buy back on the dump let see how high it goes before it happens
Almost all cryptocurrencies are pseudo-anonymous and if the users adapt the required behaviour they can use them all for anonymous transactions.
No cryptocurrency built around anonymity will find its way to the top as it always has a shadow of crime chasing it. However, if any of them wants to address this niche area and wants to provide easier solutions for this small group of users it only has to do it as a side feature, not a main one.
We are approximately 7.3 billion, how may of us need to make anonymous transactions? how many of us need to make fast transactions? I think these two questions say it all.
VNL will offer both fast and anonymous transactions but what will make it the best out there is its speed.

It's not just about fast transactions - it's about very strong fundamentals across the board.
Developed for a year before release and developed mostly under the radar for the past eight months. VNL is all about the fundamentals and building upon them in my opinion. There is so much going on with this coin I would direct you to the OP rather than list it in this post.

Privacy: Merchants all around the world couldn't give a less fuck around privacy except the darknet, sexshops and cam sites.
Security: I don't really get your point here, John has probably way more P2P programming experience than what Satoshi had, Satoshi was a genious don't get me wrong here, but Bitcoin as a communication network/protocol is outdated.
Bitcoin was adopted without being privacy focused and if you frequently read r/bitcoin you will see that the peoples biggest problems are block sizes and speed, and bitcoin is currently the MOST adopted cryptocurrency.
Also according to your logic DASH would be the one and only coin that will get adopted, but I would like to see the world where a cryptocurrency with masternodes (and with that first 24h emission rate) will lead real world adoption.

Beware pump too high they will shock the coin with inevitable dump. It's great price is rising but some pump groups try to kill coins this way too.
Don't think this is a pump yet...just people realizing what a promising coin vnl is.
