Fairy Tale. Some monsters have seized power and money. And they began to fuck people. But there was a small group of people highly intelligent, who did not want to put up with my poor existence, and they have come up with Cryptocurrency. Now geeks bred suckers for money and fuck all! Cheesy

If you have some easy optimizations to cut/paste and copy into the cl file, that is one thing us non-coders can do, please share. Just because it is easy for you, Wolf, Smolen, or djm38 doesn't mean it can be done by anyone else.

Let me remind old story from early Bitcoin days. Shortly after creation of GPU miners, kernels were optimized almost to the last by top-notch programmers (Kolivas, ArtForz, you name it). Then a newcomer appeared in newbie section and proposed simple single line change overlooked by professionals. And in altcoin (under)world there are much more wasted cycles and broken algorithms, newbies still have a chance to feel a taste of victory.

John, I don't understand what you are protecting blockchain from, but validating only one signature in block::check_signature() is not enough, in such situation valid throwaway keypair would cost only 1 satoshi (or how the least denomination of VNL is called)
Block signatures prevent Proof-of-Stake duplication and have nothing to do with anything else. Cool
Thank you for an explanation, understood. For PoS it makes sense, but for PoW it makes some troubles Smiley  my closed-source miner split block reward between HW owner and me, exposing private key is not an option. If there be version of Smelter for Vanillacoin, I'll try to not pollute blockchain with dust outputs Smiley

Programming is not easy. Nothing is easy.
If it's easy, than it's of no value :-)
And unlike most people say, it's not for everyone. Like playing an instrument or piloting a plane.
If he's smart and has the will, he'll learn which is much more important than some more hashes per second ;-)

Pallas, I used to code years ago and I couldn't begin to know or learn what is needed to code a gpu coin miner. Telling him to start with the above PDF is like telling an 8 year old he can perform
neurosurgery, start with Gray's Anatomy book.  If you have some easy optimizations to cut/paste and copy into the cl file, that is one thing us non-coders can do, please share. Just because it is easy for you, Wolf, Smolen, or djm38 doesn't mean it can be done by anyone else. You couldn't begin to do my job without 8 years of college, hundreds of thousands in loans, and years of practice. And I used to code in 6502 and 6809 assembly, but I still have no idea looking at code 25 years later.

No one can help me ? I don't have any shares accepted with my GTX 680.

Please jump on irc and throw in your question. Sadly I don't own nvidia cards, but MrM4D and xCore are mining with them + they made the public miner.

Problem resolved Wink ! Why can't I download the wallet ? It says me encoding error.

I have no problems downloading the wallets on windows/chrome.

I will try on chrome.

Edit : don't work even on chrome.

Not sure what your problem is, but tell me what wallet you need and I'll upload it to mega.

I need the Windows x64 wallet please.

It was only the wind.
Hmm
Strange i put from catalyst 15.3 beta dll's to new Wolf sgminer folder:
amd_opencl32, amd_opencl64, amdocl, amdocl64.dll, and on 290/290x sgminer crash on start.
But on 280x works well when catalyst 14.4 is installed, and these dll's from 15.3 are in sgminer folder.
I reinstall catalyst 14.4 to 15.3 beta on 290/290x and sgminer works, don't crash.
But i like 14.4 because i can change clock speeds on 290/290x in msi afterburner.
You know what may be wrong Wolf?

You're abusing the driver. Parts of it are 14.4, while the code being called from the miner is 15.3. The further away the two versions, the less likely that little trick will work.
