A few key members messaged bittrex about re-enabling the wallet, I think it will be soon, if not I assume John will ask them.

John! Markets do not works! That is your merit! Constant updating wallets confuses the exchange, they are in constant update! As a result, it is impossible to deduce from the VNL exchange! Maybe you could work more efficiently with the exchanges, or less frequently updated wallets! Angry

Lol, let me get this straight, you are upset because John-Conner is working to hard on this project?

HOLY SHIT ON A STICK!@@@   that is the most rediculous thing I have ever heard.
You understood me wrong! I say that my VNL stuck on Bittrex! I do not have the opportunity to build a super node!
Nobody gave me any VNL for building a super node after losing almost all my VNL!

You guys really suck at PR. There has been many claims of the code not being original and were backed up with solid proofs, how would you answer them? Does John even care to save the coin's rep?

Again, code is open source and even if you can't read any code, why do you think the code isn't original when:

-Only coin other than Bitcoin that only requires 1 confirmation on Poloniex - I've posted many times how to test this.

-Only coin that has staking mobile wallets that allow you to move your wallet.dat to your PC from your Android and iOS wallets

-Only coin with near-instant 0-confirmation transactions that doesn't use master nodes.  You can receive node incentives if you have 10,000 in collateral, but collateral is not necessary to be a super peer.  You just need an open VNL port, a certain amount of uptime, and possibly a certain amount of bandwidth.

-Only coin that has encrypted connections and gives you a random port if you have no config.dat.  All your ISP will see is normal SSL traffic while monitoring your ports, which is unlike what happens with all other coins.  If you're using Bitcoin and your ISP monitors your ports, it will know you're using port 8333,
which means it knows you're using Bitcoin.
You're talking about the updates that were pushed on later. Clearly John is a great coder.
I was talking about the basic code that he started with. Code reviews pointed out the fact that it wasn't built from the ground up as John claimed.
The fact that the coin was "built from scratch" was what drew most of supporters to it in the first place..

John was fairly clear that he referenced peer coin while writing VNL from scratch....   you just listened to the wording of some incredible fudsters and took it as truth.

Not Johns fault that you use bitcointalk as your main reference point.

Good luck to you if the words of fudsters are your source of inspiration.

BTS at Bittrex is disabled for a week already (or even more), I bet this is John's merit too.

Poloniex is working.  I don't think Bittrex-richie has been on since the 15th https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/richiela-96390 and the last new coin they added was on the 3rd.

I think Bittrex's VNL wallet will be updated when he gets on again.

Poloniex is ok, and as I said earlier, Bittrex knows about the 0.3.8 (just let them the time to update it & reopen)
There's new features in Vanillacoin and it req. some constant dev & updating ; sometimes it's planned, sometimes it's urgent. I'm sending an email as soon as I know about a new update. I'll do that with all main services since months. Imo john's merit is more his constant work on many projects than the fact that an exchange is disabling deposit&withdrawal some days.

=== NODE IS OK! ==
Code reviews pointed out the fact that it wasn't built from the ground up as John claimed.
Not a single code review (that indicates this) has ever surfaced. Trying to manipulate the market with non-facts (again), nice... Cool

Thanks you for your support.

I am no expert, but the code compiles in a very different way from a "btc clone"

Also, this coin from the start has been the only coin that automatically burns all tx fees, and they're not sent to a burn address either.

Same ol' same ol'. Your intelligence suck. Please make us a favor and read the last few pages of this thread.

"Throw enough mud at the wall, some of it will stick." ^^^^Perfect example.
I used to be a huge supporter of Vanilla. That was before a few coders came on board and did code review of it and came up with the result that the claims of the code being unique and original and "built from scratch" were most likely to be BS. It's most likely to be a clone of Peercoin and the code was passed through a code converter then all the tags were removed to try to obfuscate that fact.
I can clearly see the results of recent updates, but if John lied about the most basic fundamental fact that he used to promote the coin then I have no reason to trust him or any of you.

So, you used to be supporter but not any more, right? What are you doing here than anyway? Price is low and you want it a little bit lower to become 'supporter' again or what?
Whatever your reason is you cant change the fact that you act like just another troll and you should know that. If you sold in fear of your doubts then please just move on, there are many coins out there on which you can move price with little FUD and few BTC.

Bittrex wallet still disabled ?

Just sent an email to check with them, but I know they got the email about 0.3.8 upgrade 4 days ago. I presume it will be enabled soon.

Hi BCT !

Additional GUI features are planned for this Q4/2015, like first translations. If you want to help us with that part, please check https://talk.vanillacoin.net/topic/234/vanillacoin-translations
You can reach me here, on Vanillacoin Forum, or on Freenode if needed.

Thanks in advance, and have a good day/n8.

That was before a few coders came on board and did code review

No they didn't, they are no reviewers and they didn't even review the github, most of them even admitted it when questioned. They pointed out 2 files out of a 100 (or 10 lines out of 5k) that are similar because they follow the usual P2P currency architecture. John stated that he was watching Peercoins source while he was doing the coding, but this doesn't support what you and the so-called reviewers are stating. Look at the people making the claims.

Few coders came on board, did some code reviewing, there were some claims that it's not unique... bla bla bla There were rumours that there was a rumour, but that was just a bullshit. No one knows who, where and when but in the next sentence you are saying that it's a fact. Apparently you don't even know what you are talking about. I could make Bitcoin's code review and tell you it's not safe and Satoshi was drunk when he code it. Will you believe me? You have no reason to trust him or any of us but you have a reason to believe to some other random guy on bitcointalk. I'm wasting my time... It's probably another Smooth's or Icebreaker's troll account. But I trust you Ahmed, I will sell my VNL, you probably know better than polo. Cheesy
