I do think chainblender could bring some more awareness to VNL. We'll see.
the 8btc buy support is a little unsettling, perhaps because of the delays.
will we see a better price, before real world adoption?
without getting into specifics and techy details, all we have is a bitcoin semi-clone with a fast transactions, its how this can be used in real world, will determine the real price.
You could spend all your time suping up a car, adding larger engine, lighter weight and bigger turbos, but at the end of the day, without a direction to drive, its just a waste of time and money.
we need a clear direction and path.
I see it a slightly different way.
Any serious investor in Crypto will invest in BTC because this is the only likely cryto to be the first mass-adopted currency. It already supports a mining and exchange industry.
Speculating on a coin like VNL at this point in time is speculating on 1 of 2 things.
1: Pump scenario Like any fad coin or marketed coin. We already know this is not the mandate of the development team, so you'd have to be stupid to be investing/speculating in this scenario. We
may be lucky and some entity believes they can mimic the outcomes of DASH & ETH, but again the odds are against us here at this point in time.
2: Mass adoption scenario Bitcoin further succeeds and adopters willingly seek more robust alternatives. This is not currently happening but this is where the development team is positioning itself.
My main questions to John C are: How long are you willing to stick with this project, and what would make you give up on it? This is as much transparancy I can ask for to protect my investment.
