"Governor Chris Christie will serve as Transition Team Chairman, overseeing an extensive team of professionals preparing to take over the White House, and all that entails, in the fall. Governor Christie has been a loyal supporter and confidant to Mr. Trump and the campaign. He has been entrusted to oversee this important task with the goal to implement this team in an official capacity in November."

Yes, we saw him finally emerge from Trump's rump.

My best guess:

Palin is not a good choice for the VP pick. She might be popular among the religious nuts, but Trump will be losing a huge amount of centrist and secular votes, if he picks her as the VP candidate.

London's Muslim mayor: I can't travel to U.S. under Trump

London’s new mayor — and the first Muslim to hold the position — warns that a Donald Trump presidency could keep him from engaging with American mayors.

“If Donald Trump becomes the president I’ll be stopped from going there by virtue of my faith, which means I can’t engage with American mayors and swap ideas,” Sadiq Khan said in an interview with Time.

Khan acknowledged New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel for their work and said he’d like to go to the United States  "to meet with and engage with American mayors," but a Trump presidency could jeopardize that. The presumptive GOP nominee has proposed a temporary ban on non-citizen Muslims from entering the United States.

Khan said he planned to visit the United States before January in case Trump wins the White House and criticized Trump’s campaign tactics — which he accused conservatives in his race of using.

“Hope, I think, is a good way of persuading people to vote for you, energize and enthuse people,” he said. “I think to try and look for differences, to try and turn communities against each other is not conducive to living successfully and amicably.”

Khan, a member of the Labour Party, was elected mayor last week.

David Cameron, who at one point called Trump's proposed ban on Muslim foreigners entering the United States "divisive, stupid and wrong," said Thursday at a press conference with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe that Trump "deserves our respect" for making it through the primaries.

What a two faced fucker he is, only last week he said

Given that the existing US Potus, Obaby, returned the bust of Winston Churchhill to Britian, and sent the Queen as a gift, an IPOD full of Hisself, we in the US can

1.  Deserve disrespect back

2.  Fix our errors by getting us Trump

I don't mind Trump at all, maybe he will make America great again.
As for Churchill he was an ass, first person to ever order a blitz on a populated City.
Hitler only retaliated with the same, my city got blitzed big time, I blame Winnie for that.
I would dump all the statues of past statesmen in the river, they do not deserve recognition in the slightest.

And Obamas IPOD, well that was very funny indeed.
Jokes aside, Obama backtracked on a lot of his promises.

I'm not going to go dig quotes up, but I think he phrased it "let's US make America great again."

The people of the US can do that.  One man can not.

Handouts and free stuff can't make a great country.

Well....all I'll say at this point is, for most of the primary Ted Cruz looked an awful lot like he was running for the slot of Trump's running mate. To be frank, I wonder if that really was his intention - until some of his supporters (donors?) held his own feet to the fire.

Neither Cruz, nor Kasich will be Trump's running mate. I am sure about that. They were involved in too much mudslinging, to be considered for the VP pick. Also, right now Trump needs to attract the centrist voters. Most of the conservative voters are going to vote for him anyway (they don't have much of a choice). So IMO, someone like Rand Paul would be a good option.
I must have seen Rand Paul talk thirty times and like him but will disagree.  He's in the shadow of Ron Paul, and is to a degree viewed the same way.

But there is a truly massive number of high caliber men and women out there at this time who would work.

While we're at it, who are our favorites?

Imagine Trump and Ron Paul!

Ron Paul does not endorse Trump, additionally I think Trump could do better. Ron Paul served his purpose at the time, but is now largely irrelevant. As far as Rand Paul, the apple fell far from the tree. He is just a establishment toolbag hiding behind his father's Libertarian shadow.

Do you think he'll pick an existing legislator? I'm not sure I know what qualifications are important to be VPOTUS.

As a Hoosier, I like Mitch Daniels.

Imagine Christie as VP  Cheesy was a prosecuting attorney—first order of action: sends Hillary to prison.
