Nope, Chinese is not cheap, it’s the US who’s cheap. Chinese are the most expensive talent to hire. Many Chinese are highly paid than many US cheap CEO.

You have read too much of lies. The apple products remained to be highly priced no matter where its manufactured. You won’t see apple product coming down on price to benefit the consumers, despite it’s cheaper to produce in the east? Apple 1 is same the price with apple ii, and the ii are same price with the latest iPhone X, it’s never about price, I dunno why apple close the last US factory and move all of them in 2004 to China, yeah that’s also the time Microsoft windows xp are booming like a boss, and apple are dying a thousand cut, and China was not yet developed.

chinese labor isn't that cheap anymore, but it's still cheaper than american.

the big draws IMO are very weak (basically nonexistent) unionization, lack of regulations (like environmental ones), cheaper raw material costs due to scale and sourcing from china itself, faster internal supply chains.....

trump did lower the hell outta corporate taxes, bringing them closer in line with china, which should make USA production more attractive. both countries allow for extreme corporate tax loopholes anyway though so i'm not sure how much of a difference the 2017 tax cuts made.

thats funny. i don't look at it that companies like apple don't wanna pay US government due to misuse of tax money. its just that apple can gain and benefit more if their production is in china. this is also what other companies are after why they stay in China which also made them richer. they are becoming too rich which is dangerous.

i like what china is doing to the poor countries and helping them grow. they are helping my country too. i hope they can unite the whole Asia and not invade like what they are doing to the uyghur city.

The real reason why Apple and other technology companies have most of their manufacturing operations in china is because it is cheaper to mass produce products there. The supply chains that make all the products that western companies sell are mostly owned by chinese manufacturing conglomerates, and western companies must form a partnership with them if they want to make stuff. They can't just buy the manufacturing arms because China won't allow that.

And their operations aren't just in china they're in most Far Eastern country that has a low exchange rate like Vietnam and Cambodia because they are able to pay workers living there in less US dollars than they would pay someone working from the US because there is a lower standard of living in those countries and as a result of exchange rates, foriegn workers can live off of less USD than normal.

I believe in the money, China is very rich, very huge, it can buy the entire globe with tax money collected, and apple is the 17th biggest gdp by country on it’s own, that’s $1.2 trillions just way behind US total gdp of $20 trillions. That haven’t include activision blizzard, Tesla, Toyota, McDonald,... many US, Japan home grown giant who love to pay tax to China government, although they’re far less valuable than apple.

China is not cheap to manufacturing goods.


Apple pay so much tax to the China government to the point that nobody know how much it’s paid, no data is leaked to the public, and China can buy the entire USA with cash that’s generated from tax money.


Nobody know why apple refuses to return to their home land, US has whatever China have, young talent, manufacturing fab, low cost labour that willing to work for Amazon, easy credit, raw materials, everything they wish for, but apple refuse to return.

See problem is China have done something horrible, even if the virus did not originate in the Labs , the government failed to control it , now the whole world is suffering. They sushed their own doctors when they stood up against the government.
They tried their best to not let the world know about this . When the countries asked them for the virus information they did not give it .

Therefore it is right if the US wants China to go through an Investigation to determine the cause of the Virus being spread believe it on not a country's true power , true strength does not depend on the money they have .

Trump knows its consequences and I’m sure his administration also aware of this but it doesn’t mean they’re poor. We need US to be strong in terms of military because a lot of countries depends on them and since China is too aggressive, maybe bigger countries have to be more prepared for the worst.

Countries are ally in terms of businesses, and since the production cost in China is cheaper, many companies choses to work with them and of course they have to pay taxes since they worked in an international soil. Don’t worry, the trade war between in US and China is getting worse and US companies are now looking for other place to do their production, and Indonesia is one of a great place which is also their allies. Big economies can also collapse, that’s why we need to be prepared for the recession and we don’t know when it will happen.

Hilarious title. Despite his flaws, Trump is completely right in attacking China these days since their incompetence led to a worldwide plague. I don't support the crazy conspiracy theories regarding China inventing the virus in one of their labs etc.

On top of this, the Chinese government faked their COVID numbers and they even manipulated the WHO for their own profit. Pathetic and distasteful behavior in my opinion. Also, I am not a US citizen.

If you are talking about the production that are mostly being made in China, it's because China has a low labor expense. It's not only the US but most products are being made in China because of cheap labor.

Everyone wants to see that their money is in good hands and the taxes they are paying are being used in an effective project. Although for me, it's not about which country is earning money on production. It's more practical for some big producing companies if the production was held in China because it will lessen the expenses on labor. And after all, when you sell your product in your country, your government will still receive your tax payment. Production in China doesn't necessarily mean that there would be no available job for US citizens. The whole process is not only about production.

I don't think that Apple would rather give their money to China because they think that their country's government is incompetent. I also don't think they will benefit from paying China when they are not even a citizen of that country. Actually I think, the US government is earning enough because Apple has a worldwide sale. They are selling their product in different countries, and the US is the one benefitting from it.

Because China is so rich that they can buy the entire Africa, they can buy the entire existing technology, they can invest into best new talents, they can invest into 5G, 6G, 7G, they can build the best spaceship with all the income they received from tax money.

China spend the income tax they received from new apple iPhone sale to acquire new technology, buy poor country, buy young talents, funding educations, funding new technology. Also income tax from many major US based tech company that operate in China, they all pay tax to China government like an overjoyed lapping puppy.

Meanwhile US allocate the income tax they received from big America company to acquire new military bases, build new nuclear bomb, fund the Middle East oil wars, invest into new drugs, invest into new vaccines, fund keyboard warriors army who is pro government, fund the anti fake news movement, fund the internet censorship movement, fund the network mass surveillance movement, etc everything that wiki leaks has to expose for a long time ago, the unclassified documents and the Edward Snowden’s unclassified security data, also money goes to send Julian Assange into jail by conviction of guilty, that’s you tax payers money, tax payers send Julian Assange to jail by paying more taxes, that’s a lot of tax payer money get abused on corruption.

If I’m a honest tax payer I would pay my tax to the one who will use the money for the better good of all human being. No wonder many productive company start moving their production to China, they rather pay tax to their enemy than pay tax to fund their own government. That include company from US, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, German, EU, UK, India, Russia, Australia, Canada, Africa, Dubai. Who’s willing to pay taxes to US government please hand down. Who is willing to pay taxes to the China government please hand up. Ask yourselves do you like to pay taxes to the US government? The whole reason why apple is reluctance and refuse to return their entire operation to US might be because they’re tired of paying tax to the US govt who constantly misuse the tax money on selfish gain, they would continue to pay their income tax to China as long as it’s not going into the hand of tyrannical government, yeah apple is a big fat cash cow that account for so much tax income that trump is drooling and want it to come back so badly it want to drain up every single drop of apple blood from its root.

Why are US based tech companies so hypocrites, they’re killing the US job markets, by moving every single job to China, moving every single income tax to China. People in the US has no job, they would begin to starve, when they’re too starved, they will get mad, and get down the street, the first thing they will do is overthrow the government, as the government provide no jobs and income to the US people, apple looking at it on the high ground, looking at US people go down the street and marching to destroy the government, and the government has no money to pay for its expense because all the fat cash cow tech companies has moved to China, US government cannot extract more tax money from the oversea US companies anymore to fund their luxuries on producing more mass destruction weapons. Also apple launching more overpriced apple stand and apple wheels so that US buyer continued to buy more from apple and move more money to the China, the faster apple could drain dry all the wealth from the gullible US consumers the faster the US will go broke, shut down government office, next shut down White House, shut down military operation, shut down network surveillance, one by one get shut down, finally apple can get their sweet revenge.

The entire parody is being playing on the US, economies, but there is so little can be done to reverse the trend.

Of course, unless the China finally turn into tyrannical government and spend their tax income resource on wasteful development, that will be the turning point for the US to become relevant again, and only the US based tech companies were convinced to move their operations elsewhere. Yeah, China is getting aggressive lately, they seem to be slowly turning into tyrannical, but so far there is little to worry about, they might be colonising many poor country, but nothing violence are happening, everything is done peacefully, and no big business want to give up on China operation and continued paying taxes to China.
