Well, that doesn't surprise me at all since they are only a candidate and might only using cryptocurrency for their own benefit. It is not a bad thing, but it does not really matter. Politicians can say whatever they like as long as they want to reach specific target population anyway. However, if true, it makes a lot of sense to have someone who is a crypto enthusiast in power as that could actually bring about some positivity for the space in terms of further development around legalization and probable regulations as the case may be within the US. Something like this can easily send signals to the minds of some, but nothing too particular to instigate huge market movement upwards.
