Of course USD is more popular because it is one of the major currency of current time. Nations are considered to be rich if they hold greater amount of USD in their reserves. But this does not mean that things will always remain the same and USD will dominate always. I think Bitcoin is a strong competitor as as soon as Dollar will began to lose value, bitcoin will take over.

Unfortunately, this is unlikely to ever happen. Fiat currency has more support from the government than cryptocurrency. Bitcoin will be used by ordinary people

aka both combined into a tool for good deals. when bitcoin can not be used, then the dollar will be used. I believe, and usd bitcoin transaction will be the best tool in the world. but, I believe, bitcoin still has the advantage, because bitcoin is also popular on the internet. so, many people will look for bitcoin than usd.

I think it all depend on the rate of adoption not only the price rising. USD is being used and adopted for international use from centuries that is why it have roots firmed in the businesses while bitcoin is new but still we are seeing that it is going to be in competition with USD and if the adoption of bitcoin increased to the most parts of the world then there is chances that bitcoin become more powerful than USD.

Well, it is not a good way to compare because Bitcoin only existes on this planet for 8 years and Dollar has been hear for more than 300 hundred years. However, as far as we know, Bitcoin currently has a bright future because it provides many advantages to its users, which makes more and more people pay attention to it. In about two more decades, I believe most of the people will know and understand what bitcoin is

USD might be popular just because of its value and usage in few countries around the world. Respectively Euro is much used than USD, also bitcoin haven't reached a large user group similar to USD. But it has got the acceptance around every country, atleast a single person in each country will be using bitcoin.

in fact bitcoin is still new currency, therefore people are feeling a little reluctant to accept bitcoin in their business. i think it will still a little more time for the people to understand the importance of bitcoin, and then implement bitcoin in their lives.

There is no need for this to be in a competition as both are good to be used by us. If you are that type of person who are using things accordingly and using them both as an advantage then you are a grown up man. Bitcoin is depending it's price into dollars and that's how important the US dollars with the economy of bitcoin.

That is the exact description that I was searching for. In general dollar users are much more in population than the investors in bitcoin and thats why USD is much more popular than bitcoin. Bitcoin is still young and investors had seen big profit coming from bitcoin and even they are small in population they will greatly benefit from their choices. Bitcoin will still continue to grow but it will never overtake dollars as a currency but as long as the users keep growing bitcoin will finally be accepted worldwide.

Well you're right. The fact that there's a possibiity of bitcoin being obsolete in the next 10years tells us that its really not at par yet with the dollar and the importance of the dollar far outweighs that of btc or any digital currency. In 10 years we can be sure that the dollar is still strong and is as widely used as now
