If btc was more popular than usd then we would be sitting far higher than 450 dollars right now. So to answer your question, no. Not by far unfortunately.
That´s right if the bit coin was more popular then the Dollar he would be more then the value is now. But i don´t think it would bemuch more because if everyone uses it, it will get an stable amount i think.

Most countries recognize us dollars and it will be hard for btc to introduce himself for poor countries that doesn't have knowledge about it,
So when people doesn't have enough knowledge into that specially it is used for monetary purpose. They would choose for USD.
