So if I convert only ETH/BTC for example on Poloniex, there shouldn't be problems? And how about BTC/USD? I currently don't want to convert it to USD but just in case.

You will not face any problem as long as you have eth coins with you because if there is no coin with you how can you convert them into btc, same as with btc/usd also you convert and withdraw them. But you need to withdraw them to the option provided by the exchange.

You can trade BTC and altcoins at any age. Some exchanges require you to accept TOS, where it's written that you have to be over certain age, but it won't really matter to them if you're not. The only problem you might have is if the exchange gets hacked or loses your funds, because in such case they could ask for an ID and bank account/ address to repay you. Also if they lose your money it will be hard to get it back (TOS violation on your part).

Exactly many exchanges requires to accept TOS without accepting we cannot move forward. Yes but till now i din't face any problem like hacking but when you want to trade either bitcoin and altcoin you need to accept their TOS.

Hello,
I'm wondering how can you trade with bit/altcoins when you're under 18 years old. I currently need to transfer some ethereum coins (earned by mining) to bitcoin and eventually to real cash. I know that you can use LocalBitcoins.com, however you can only trade bitcoin here. How about altcoins?

Thanks.

You need to different exchange where exactly the altcoin is listed it's better to find them in coinmarketcap.com. So that you will get any idea on which exchange the altcoin listed there you can convert your altcoin into bitcoin by calculating your profit on it you can convert in exchanges and you withdraw to your desired bitcoin address.

I don't think the altcoin exchanges require a minimum age, I can't remember seeing anything when signing up.  I think you would struggle trying to turn it into cash as most require an id or there are other options as previously mentioned.

Bitcoin is for the masses old and young 😀

Local bitcoins would be an option for cash, but other than that there are some debit cards that allow ordering physical cards with no ID verification; feel free to check out my thread List of bitcoin debit cards Perhaps you could also use P2P trades to receive funds in something like a paypal account but that's the most risky.

I don't remember being asked about my age when I register on exchange sites, I have register to almost all exchange but I have never been asked for IDs as well.
They know we all wanted privacy that is why we are using cryptocurrencies, the only problem you can encounter is cashing out btc from websites that asks for IDs.

Try the reputable people here in the forum, some of them buy BTC through paypal. I said reputable so be careful trading with someone,  its like sharing an information and at the same time paypal can be disputed.

you can try poloniex or bittrex for altcoin trading, i don't remember bittrex asking for any minimum age for trading, nor they can't prove it, because they don't even require document for trading that do not involve fiat
