So many people asking so here you go. My personal review of Monetha vs UTRUST:

The Monetha Team:
- Small and not even a single software engineer
The UTRUST Team:
- Large and with a highly technical background

Monetha Whitepaper:
- Confusing and hard to understand if this is something really needed
UTRUST Whitepaper:
- Very clear to understand the model just by glancing at the paper summary

Monetha fees for seller:
- 1.5%
UTRUST fees for seller:
- 1%

Monetha Concept:
- Simplistic view and solves no intrinsic problem.
UTRUST Concept:
- Solves a major problem in crypto payments - Buyer protection for cryptocurrency. This is something that is needed for the mass adoption and doesn’t exist. Can be easily used by merchants and private sellers alike.

Monetha accepts:
- Just ETH.
UTRUST accepts:
- All major cryptocurrencies.

Monetha adoption by merchants:
- Limited to merchants that wish to accept ETH and no other cryptocurrencies. Amazon, Ebay, Ali, and many more already have feedback scores, therefore Monethas model will not gain tracking and be adopted by any major merchants. Since it solves no problem, very low appeal to buyers.
UTRUST adoption by merchants:
- Buyers can pay with multiple cryptocurrencies and have a safety net when making their payments, with sellers having a higher selling rate. Will gain organic traction, bringing more clients by referral as they feel more satisfied and protected.

-Monetha adoption by buyers:
- Buyers can only pay with ETH. Feedback score system already exists and solves no problem in practice. Feedback rate is unreliable and subject to false reports and paid bias, as many others.
UTRUST adoption by buyers:
- Buyers can pay with multiple cryptocurrencies. Buyers feel safer making payments with cryptocurrencies knowing that if something goes wrong they can appeal, escalate and be refunded.

If you pay with Monetha and an vendor scams you, the only thing you will be able to do is put a negative review and your money is gone. With UTRUST you will get your money back.

for real? what a big amount for a certain activity before the ico kicks off.. well im sure, with that certain amount, means many trusted the project, by the time ico opens, it will definitely flood investors.

Yes, we are being trusted which we very much appreciate.

We are using the existing funds to run our extensive marketing campaigns, too.

Hope this helps!

i have signed up for the signature campaign to help you promote the project. Smiley

may i ask what is the ico price? and does the price differs between pre ico and druing ico?

Hi unisilver,

You can find all details here: https://utrust.io/ico
Let us know if you have any further questions and we will be more than happy to reply.

All the best,
The UTRUST Team

i saw your site dev, the pre ico started aug 28 right? and it says it has been sold out.. is this means that you already raised $1,500,000?

$2,000,000 from private investors
$1,500,000 from pre-ICO

$3,500,000 already raised. Waiting for ICO round 1 Smiley

So is UTRUST trying to act like a decentralized PayPal?

From what I understand, more or less. They aim to be one of the first decentralized payment processors that allow conversions of most cryptos. Their niche is in their buyer protection which seems unmatched by the competition at the moment. I'm excited to see how their ICO goes Smiley

Ok but is it then more like a Coinbase but with more cryptocurrencies or are they offering some sort of decentralized solution?

I would say paypal is a better comparison. As a merchant you can sell your products, accepting major cryptos through this platform while having the received coins be immediatly converted into your fiat of choice (ie. ETH to USD). This not only saves you the hassle of conversion yourself but protects against market volatility. The merchant can then convert their money into other cryptos, cash out, or keep it in their wallet on the platform. As a buyer this platform would potentially save you the hassle & time of any conversions, as well as providing you protection on your purchases! Bought a boat  online with BTC, that surprisingly never got delivered? With UTRUST you're protected!

I believe that this project is going to be more popular in the future. It has good benefits for both buyers and sellers. Especially for the sellers. I love the idea that escrow exchanges the cryptomoney to fiat in advance. So there is no lost in a possible dump for the sellers.

20th September is a good date to start ICO, and what is your minimum target in ICO and how long will ICO run?

Hi Affiliate User!

  • The ICO will have 7 rounds
  • Every round lasts 7 days or until sold out
  • Unsold tokens will be burnt, effectively reducing the total market cap

Hope this helps!

What if all the coins are sold in 1 day, will 7 rounds be held or will ICO end immediately?
i think if all coins are sold in one day ICO will end immediately.
if the coins are sold out, what coin will sell again?  Huh

more and more ico projects that increase the duration of sales when ico is running
may be the factor of the yesterday's issue which has reduced investors
hopefully this will be the right decision for the project to succeed

I think it is a good decision. The project is big and needs time for active marketing. However, the breaks between rounds were reduced.
It is true that making the best decision is not easy. The important thing is to be patient with a big project for achieving active marketing.

Also a small update

We slightly changed the ICO timings to 2 PM GMT and removed the 24 hour window in-between ICO rounds. Instead, the ICO now runs continuously from the 20th of September at 2 PM GMT and runs fluently into the following rounds.

I hope this made some things clear and if you have any other question, please don't hesitate to reach out!

fantastic news! now i dont need to hyperventilate if i dont make the first round in time lol  Grin

That’s a very good news now people will have the chance to get some tokens rather than fearing out to loose there transection fees.

Dear Community,

Thank you for all your questions, I am trying to answer them all one by one.

Hi,

I looking for one Email to contact the team, have something to talk about.

so please give me a contact Email.

Thank you
Timotron

Thanks, please contact us in our Slack or Telegram channels.

Looks very similar to Monetha, as long as they have a whitelist for their ICO - will instantly be a better project in my mind.

No whitelist, so everybody is free to participate. We actually offer some functionality that Monetha doesn, such as buyer protection and non-Ethereum based payments.

Hi, i am joined the Blog campaign. I hope that UTRUST and the ICO can be successful. Good luck to UTRUST Team!

Thanks 👏 👏 👏

Why there is 1st round having undisclosed total amount?
Should I assume that you yourself bought the first round of 100,000,000 token with total amount of $1?

You need an ICO for your project but do not respect transparency. Please do care about your tag line because many have burnt their fingers with this tag line already like "A new era of future payments". Wink

we need more transparency here.
Can you please share pre-sale amount and total payments here?
Also please update first post so we can see every step clearly.
I believe this project will be better then monetha

Hi sonulrk and adam1230!

As an official statement: the non-disclosed private investor round was 100,000,000 tokens @ $0.02. The pre-ICO afterwards sold all 50,000,000 available tokens at $0.03 within only 90 minutes! 👍 🎉

A very good platform.Payment solution for future online transfer.Looking forward to it.

We are just as excited and looking forward to our first open ICO round on 20th September 2017 at 2 PM GMT with a price of $0.04! 💰

If they sold 250,000,000 at a price of $0.02, then that would be a total of $5,000,000.  And 50,000,000 at a price of $0.03 would equal $1,500,000.  However, what I am not sure about is if ALL private investors paid $0.02, as there is a little blurb that says "Token price set individually on a partner-by-partner basis." but then it says the price is $0.02.  So someone from UTRUST will have to clarify that.

I hope I made this clear above, all private investor tokens were sold for $0.02.

Sorry, I did my math wrong... I just realized the private investor sale was limited to 10%, which would be 100,000,000 tokens at $0.02 = $2,000,000.  Plus the 50,000,000 tokens at $0.03 for the pre-sale which is 1,500,000.  So $3.5M total so far.

This is correct!

Hi,

The Pre-ICO had 50,000,000 tokens, and all 7 rounds have 100,000,000 tokens.  7x100,000,000 = 700,000,000.  700,000,000 + 50,000,000 = 750,000,000.  Meaning there were 250,000,000 tokens at a price of $0.02 reserved for strategic partnerships, private investors, etc.  And since they sold out the pre-ICO and private investor ICOs, we can deduce that they have sold 300,000,000 tokens to this date out of a maximum of 300,000,000 tokens.  There are 700,000,000 tokens remaining at the prices and rounds set on their ICO page: https://utrust.io/ico#ico
