Design is fine but sorry I don't find it exceptional compared to others that I see. For me, the game design is more important because this is where we spend our time the most and not by simply staring at the website for hours and do nothing.

I can give you one suggestion to avoid bots registration, visit Binance exchange website and look for pattern image solving they are using.

All platforms warn users to use strong passwords and many platforms don't accept passwords which are too weak like very short, only contains character or number. They force users to set up a password with mix of number, character, and special character.

As the vbetFTN team explained, they wanted users to use strong passwords and maybe their developers forgot about inconvenience of typing the strong password manually. Their developers might focus on bot accounts and Captcha but no worry, they added it to their to-do list and will deploy manual password typing for vbetFTN users soon.
