"Now we have Lyra2RE whit a shitty kernel"

I agree that the gpu implementation is slow (even though the nvidia version has a better hashrate/watt ratio than amd) compared to cpu.
But it was designed to be like that.
If the equation "cpu coin == botnet dream" is true, then it's like that by design.

An excellent Dev Team in almost every category (Technical Skills, Implementation, Communication / PR, Long Term Vision), with an excellent community in almost every category as well (Diversity, Open Debate, OS Commitment, 3rd Party Initiatives), phenomenal technical robustness (Security, Widely Distributed, Decentralized, Operational Speed)
1) There is no Dev Team, there is one developer and as awesome as he might be, hes on a spring break atm.
There is no communication, no PR for the last one and a half years, Long Term goals can be outlined as "survive as long as possible"

2) The "community", nowadays, represents about 20 people on reddit and a couple more in here. There is this other forum nobody ever visits and there you can see the same 20-30 people from reddit and bct posting a line every month. Im not even gonna mention some of the projects in the past that got back-burned by that same "excellent" community

3) Compared to an year ago, VTC is now an old timer, with no technical development or innovations whatsoever. Some time ago we had 25-30% P2P mining network, solo/p2p mining incentives, test layer coin, stealth addresses and lots and lots of dreams about decentralization. Now we have Lyra2RE whit a shitty kernel and a heaven for botnets, no test layer coin, no p2p mining and no dreams and aspirations.

Your report about VTC might have been true, if you had written it 1 year ago

I've got a rough draft of an "advisory" letter I'm going to send out to institutional investors. It's a list of the only 5 coins I would currently be involved in, and Vertcoin is on it.

http://asistec-ti.com/tba/originalemail.htm

Let me know what you think. Please pick it apart and be as critical as you can (with both the e-mail and the related updates and additional materials on the website). Have no mercy. It's in all of our interests!

I'm going to be "out of the office" until the end of the week - so time you've got - and then I hope to begin sending it out either by the weekend or early next week at the latest.

Edit: I've added a new thread on the forum for comments if you think you might end up cluttering here. http://asistec-ti.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=6 Remember that you can aslo send me a PM. TIA

Well, looks like Ipominer doesnt offer VTC anymore for regular folks, if it is enabled as he said, its now for Danila only. Btw, since that discovery, he cancelled his name in his stats, so now Danila==Anonymous. Just check the stats for neoscrypt (ftc - 95% of reward for danila), zifr(zrc - 100% Danila), X11 (switching, mostly DASH and START - 86% Danila).

[EDIT]
Tho, even VTC port is not listed on home page anymore, Ipominer acts as DanilasBot personal pool, getting nearly all VTC blocks:

thanks, still wondering why I don't get anymore 3.3MH/s for the 780ti, pretty strange...
(actually I saw it only yesterday when assembling the release... seems it was due to some compilation glitch...)

Remove your old blockchain. Most likely you were synced to the old scrypt-n blockchain.
