Problem with wallet.
I am using version: v0.8.7.3-g9288c29-beta And it says that I am up to date but it says current block is 209,238 but I think the current block as of now is 209,839.
Are there any nodes that I need to add to get it syncing properly?
I am on Windows 7 64 bit but only seen a 32 bit wallet.

you have an old wallet and need to update ASAP to not lose any coins. make sure you backup your wallet.dat file before you update.

what happens when price is falling more and more and people shut down their rigs? Someone thought about that?
is a 50+ attack possible?
i think when the hard fork start,diff is low,some people mine a lot coins with low hashpower,they will dump.is a 50+ attack possible?
mine two days with full power,got thousands of VTC,i don't want to dump at such low price.
as low profit,i changed some rigs to other coins,left 220M in hashlink pool.

I think it was because of the ''no giveaway'' rule on the forum. Vertcoin did one and got banned for doing it. (if i remember correctly)

Can Vertcoin be mined whit a normal scrypt asic?
Er.. no. Its a Lyra2RE algo now. Not scrypt.
Vertcoin is not Scrypt-N any longer. It forked to Lyra2RE at block 208,301
Excellent jobs and my VTC still the same. I will add 100x holdings as the rate is dropping from $5 to $0.05 each VTC
This is even big as monetary system stopped using gold as backing.

Can this be solo mined with the new algo? Or is that only possible via wallet (cpu mining)?
I solo mined with my QT wallet, all rejects. There are little rejects with pool mine.
I tried solo mining with my gpus and it said that url is wrong, I used localhost:5888 or 127.0.0.1:5888. I just wanted to try it for fun.

I solo mined with my QT wallet with AMD GPU, all rejects. There are little rejects with pool mine.

Does anyone here mine vtc on Coinotron? Why does the reported hashrate on the website only half of what is supposed to?
No rejected shares either, all shared accepted on the miner with no hardware error.
Three workers all reporting half hashrate (and the data will keep refreshing), but never reached full hashrate, always half of what i'm seeing on the miner.
And it only affects vtc, previously i was using ftc and it worked just fine.
Did i just mine there for a full day but paid only in half ?

LTCMAXMYR - ok, 702mh/s is still massive in comparison.
Have you tried my pool since we have adjusted. Just for statistical purposes I'd be interested to know.

Something is very strange, you've only found 4 blocks. You should be finding a lot more than that.
proxy monitor shows finding many blocks,but the pool shows to other name.
you can check the founded blocks,it is about average 3 block in 10 blocks,
network hashrate is 3.7G,that means the pool hashrate is about 3.7*3/10=1.1G
if remove my 700M hashpower,the pool remains 300M,
do you think 300M can find 3/10 blocks vs networks 3.7G?

Ah, I see. That's really strange. Hopefully the pool operator will shed some light.
Yes, this issue is very strange.
LTCMAXMYR found most of the blocks, but VTC daemon reject him/her as a block solver and assign block to the miner with the next valid share.
It's not really a problem because the coins are coming to the pool's wallet and are billed correctly, but it's nasty little bug
May be it's related to the miner's proxy, VTC daemon or something else.
