HA! I knew the HW errors are not caused by my GPU but by Vertminer. Suddenly: HW Errors even at I=12 , Vertminer errors (some kernel error stuff), super low hashrate, super laggy computer. This wasn't happening last few weeks so I am assuming this is caused by miner. Normal Scrypt no HW errors and problems at I=19.

Vertminer doesn't use the same settings for your GPU as the normal cgminer.  You probably need to lower your thread-concurrency and/or clock speeds a bit to get a stable setup going.  Though there is a thread that specifically talks more about these issues and settings https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/the-big-vtc-vertcoin-settings-thread-416572.

Interesting, volume on Cryptsy has decreased to 558 BTC (from 1000+ yesterday).

Things finally quieting down there?

I hope people are leaving fucking manipulating insider trading CRAPTSY for other exchanges. I already did. Only waiting for my withdrawal to go through. Been waiting for 10 hours.

asked for w/ got it within 5 min after verifying withdrawl req/ in email try that

14h ago I sent my VTC to crypsty... not showing as deposit yet, this is last time I will ever use this crap

they will do as the last two days. Release all coins same moment collected over last 12-16h
I did send more batches to check if they do so.
Price dump will accour again, again and again

Hopefully this will be the last dump dictated by craptsy bullshit work
can you be more specific? i'm curious and i've never traded there

check out the thread:
BEWARE OF CRYPTSY MANIPULATING NEW COINS- VERTCOIN SCREWJOB!!
over here:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/beware-of-cryptsy-manipulating-new-coins-vertcoin-screwjob-449762

this will give you a idea ...

Same again third day in a row. They release all depositons over hole day at once.
I send four deposits over whole day to test it. These scammers know exactly when they do it
can sell short before and buy in cheaper later. FUCK these insider games.
You´ll never again see any fees from my side. The last one now to withdraw all my coins.

It´s a shame

thanks a lot, I'm already successfully managing a local litecoin p2pool node for windows, it looks the same for vertcoin. But now it tries to do in Linux. Perhaps the first attempt at windows. Wink

maybe you can help me.  my node only has a difficulty of 10, doesnt really go past that, but sometimes goes down.  i am the only one on this node.  is there any way for me to increase the difficulty?  i did have a share 2.5M in size so i dont think this is limiting my work, is it?

your cgminer show you 'Diff:10'? That's weird. I think anyone must have the same difficulty based on actual network hashrate.

node and network difficulties are different.  but cgminer shows both.  look at the address of the node you are connected to, it has its diff next to it.

if you have public IP for you node, i can join for a while for test. And i see 2 diff in cgminer, like you said. One for local network, second for whole network. I am smarter now.

67.175.44.246:9171 - give it a shot

i wouldnt recommend using my node too much though, as its running on the mining pc, which tends to freeze once in a while.  i am still tweaking vertminer.  its nowhere near as stable as sgminer for 290x cards

one my miner is there, I see diff 22 and Diff:154 in cgminer. I stay only for a while, becouse response time is a very large. Ping is about 155ms.

don't waste your hashes on low ping rate, glad you tested it out so at least i know it works for others, but no need to stay, thanks

you can set you own diff with payoutAddress+0.00024414

higher the number higher the diff

duh, i knew that too, figured there was a way to do this on the node, because when i would connect to different other nodes, their difficulty would be much higher already.  wonder if the difficulty goes up more if there are more people on the node.

Guys the OP is updated with the first shop to accept VTC!

it does not say anywhere it accepts vertcoins

Hi there.

I do not have any technical knowledge on any of that but I do own a website. Ill be glad do accept Vertcoins.

I think this coin its very necessary for the sake of decentralized currency so you can count on me to spread the word too.

Cheers

Hi mega,

That's great to hear, if i may ask, what kind of site do you own? It'd be great if you started accepting VTC Smiley

On a side note, received the first donation to get the fund going. Thnx mr. anonymous

Hi.
Its a fashion website. Ill accpet Vertcoins if asked.
www.allin.pt

Mega i'm sorry i missed you post.

But you are a hero, if you'd start accepting vertcoins that would be a great step in the right direction.
Try to use a logo from TotalPanda to help him with his efforts too Smiley

Hi Fastpow.
I'll try to add it somewhere in site. Unfortunately the site is based on the shopmania cms, so I'll need to figure it out to add it. Or someone that understand HTML could give an hand Smiley

Contact this guy for now. He's not that good with web scripting himself so it's not on there yet. He's accepting it tho!
