What we are seeing now is a retrace, with a couple of dips when craptsy releases deposits. It creates a floor for future trading. People freaking out after the crypto rose 1000% on the first day and than fell 50% on the second are just weak.

Ps-  we are cirrently just shy of .12 away from ltc value.  Ltc has been trying retake 19 all night. We are going to outprice litecoin. Its just a matter if when and at what price. I can say for sure though if I were long ltc here against this backdrop i would be cashing it all for vtc.

I am not clear on cryptsy as this was my first dose of that scene but yeah it would not surprise me if they were up to god knows what. But we are all bulled up and doing everything we can to push the price higher so fair is fair. Dumpers gotta eat too.

But the price has not gone down and down so you must be looking a 1 minute chart or something. We are up huge and nearltly every timeframe, the cryptsy abuse put the first high in, bitcoin had nearly its worst day ever, and still holding 10x higher than a week ago.


The market LOVES vertcoin. Just the market is spooked at the moment. Soon as they realize nobody really cares about gox in the scheme if things we will be ok. Vtc rallying off the lows as I type. So sit down get in shut up and hold on we will see vertical again and probably without any notice at all.

I was rather hoping we go straight to 800 and grab bitcoin off the ground by the jugular.

But... Not quite. There is a lot fear in crypto land. That tends to be the right time to buy, though it never feels like it.

Two quick questions, where is the maxcoin priced at now that it got off its back?

And whats the deal with gox? They are just holding withdrawals until they figure out what happened or is there more to that?

Bitcoin is stabilizing and that will help for now. Long run I don't care much as I own none but vtc will likely trade in sympathy with it for a little while longer until it has proven itself.

This is an extremely volatile phase and would be even without outside agitation. The quick buck crowd will run along to the next and vtc will have to stand on its own merits.  Fortunately it has the merits. Near 100,000 wallets and counting, up from less than 40.000 a week ago.

As for distribution this will help a lot with liquidity at the exchanges and with being added to so many all at once the market will be doing its price discovery globally all at once. I would hang tight until we see a rebound in the cryptos overall and we will likely see vert outperform as usual.

 

Guys, what about creating a website or using the existing ones like craiglist etc where people can contact other people in their areas(shipping cost) to sell their new or used stuff for vertcoins.  For example, I want to buy more vertcoin but the process of buying BTC or mine them is complicated and then have to trade it for vertcoins.  I would rather trade my bitminer, ps4, spare laptop etc for some vertcoins directly and avoid the hassle of getting btc.  This will require a lot of good will between the parts involved but remember something that you don't need anymore could be gold for someone else and vice versa.  Once we start, we will achieve tipping point and when people start noticing they can get real things in exchange for vertcoins, there is no way back!

Pd: just thought of an example, If there is a website that acts as a third party by holding the vertcoins or activation code similar localbitcoins in wich the activation code is redeem by prove invoice of amazon with tracking to the vertcoin seller address, then Anyone could purchase vertcoins using their credit cards.  The value will be based on demand and offer, ex:  I am willing to trade a new amazon 16gb ipod for 45 VTC shipped to vertcoin seller address instead of mine.  Can we evolve this idea?  We need a third party to crack how to use amazon to make small VTC purchases with credit card.
    I will throw 50 VTC to the idea if someone have something concrete so I can purchase the 50 VTC back with credit card using amazon my account.

The main problem with paypal credit card and crypto is that is hard to prove that the seller sent the crypto so credit cards can reverse the payment too easily but if you bought a product with that credit card and amazon is validating that you purchased a tangible product, then we should have no problem with this technicality.   The VTC seller is protected with the tracking number and invoice of amazon, we even can benefit for the low shipping fees of amazon prime so now we need a third party website to protect the VTC buyer.

It says we are #5 but i suspect we are #3 bc the hashing rate is halved when mining vertcoin so it should be doubled.

It's always nice to buy something cheap but if you are looking to participate into something innovative and very profitable medium long term, current prices will be irrelevant sooner than I think
