In addition to the already presented long-term viable altcoins, I am optimistic about Solana. The coin has proven its promise and relevance in the crypto space. I think this is a promising coin with a good future development.
For now I could recommend that one of the most promising currencies are;

For me they are the best currencies there are, of course right now they are not in green numbers but in red, but this depends on the enormous volatility that BTC has, especially the downward trend that it is going through, which at any time this It will turn for the better, many are going short for BTC and they may be in for a not very pleasant surprise with those positions they are taking.

Aside from that I would say these are the coins I trust the most, I even have a few more aside from them but that's my personal thing, avax seems fine to me as well and cake looks fine too, but that would be it, I would only add those two. Hopefully people will realize soon enough that they would be doing well, I really would love to see these coins all shoot up.
I still feel for the long term it will still be bitcoin but for now there are a lot of good coins especially for rank 10 cmc except meme coin and stablecoin.

The most promising coin for 2022 is SokuSwap (SOKU). Why? Because marketing is starting from next week and the price is currently very attractive. We know CAKE and the value of CAKE, Soku is at least doing the same (Swap, Limit order, Stake and Farm).

Have been looking for the most viable altcoin of the the week, as we are all aware of the deep that is currently happening in the entire cryptocurrency market, Bitcoin is my most preferred choice at the moment but am also looking for Alt that I can invest in for a long term basis that will offer me a passive profits in the long run.

Apart from Ethereum and Binance Coin (BNB), I think Polygon (MATIC) is more profitable than Dogecoin at the moment based on the development of market conditions. Polygon (MATIC) was able to increase the percentage when Ethereum (ETH) and BNB decreased.
That's only for a moment because in a short duration Matic also experienced the same decline as Ethereum and BNB, so as long as market conditions are still not good, then all Altcoins still have to struggle to stay in their position and also with the price.

When you are already aware of the benefits of bitcoin investments then I guess you are needlessly taking risk with your hard earned money. Yeah, in my opinion people who are not aware of the potential of bitcoin may get into altcoin investments or those greedy investors may risk in altcoins; bitcoin must be one of the greatest less risk involved investment opportunity.You sound like you are looking for short term investment opportunity in altcoin space. You may find something like that but there will be no guarantee that you will be getting definite profits unlike how bitcoin investment are doing.
