I am a Bitcointalk user since 2017 and I confess that I have spammed a few posts in the Vietnam topic section. I was just using Bitcointalk at the time and wasn't fully aware of my posts yet.
I am very happy that the Vietnamese theme is open again. Posts with spam content are not as numerous as they used to be. I hope the Vietnamese active on this forum have a serious investment in the posts so that the international community does not see us as spammers.
Thank for reading Smiley

And talking about translations:

The outstanding "Bitcoin is Antifragile" article by Parker Lewis has been made available in Vietnamese.  Fur curious newcomers who are looking to understand the "value proposition" of Bitcoin better, an outstanding read.

I thank you for the announcement on the language upgrade of mempool. It can help Vietnamese community. There is another alternative site to observe mempool conditions and in my opinion, that one is better.

jochen-hoenicke.de

It depends on the use case, but yes - agree: Jochen Hoenicke's page is another great tool to observe mempool backlog and tx fees.  For purely observing the mempool and deriving stats from it - it's ahead of mempool.space.  However: Mempool.space is also serving as Blockexplorer; in this regard it's a very useful tool (compared to the old dusty Blockexplorers like blockchain.info who haven't really done much anything the past couple of years).

I think both tools work well in complimentary manner.

As for the Vietnamese translation: I could imagine he would be up for it, but we will have to find some volunteers to help him out on that. He run's this as service to the community, so the "only" way to get a Vietnamese version is basically if sb is willing to contribute to it.

Below is my clarification why I would prefer to use it.
With that site, you can have three different chats for Mempool: Unconfirmed transaction counts, Pending transaction fee in BTC, Mempool size in MB.

Honestly, I usually check the third chart at bottom (Mempool size in MB) but there is more convenience if you want to get more details with 2 other charts.

Another plus point of that site compares to mempool.space is the color scheme used for fee rate bands are very well-designed. It ranges from cold colors (represent low fee rates) to hot colors (represent high fee rates). The color schemed for rate bands on mempool.space is weird and I am not like it. It is mixed from hot (at low fee rate), to cold (average fee rate) and back to hot (high fee rate).

Additionally, another plus point is you can hover the mouse on any point on the chart and get details.

It seems the site is from Germany so if you can, would you mind contacting the owner and ask for a Vietnamese version for it, please.

A common good thing: 2 sites both can be connected through Tor.

Mempool.space - imho possibly the best 'all-off-the-good-stuff & none-of-the-bad-stuff' (no ads, trackers or shitcoins) Bitcoin Block Explorer -has now been also made available in Vietnamese.

Bitcoin Saigon Community also got now a public Telegram Channel:

Quote
With the increasing censorship on most major “BigTech”-owned Social Media platforms, we are offering from now on also a Telegram Announcement channel for any news from the Community.

While Telegram might not be the ultimate solution to win the battle for privacy and free & open communications, it is currently a platform with sufficient adoption in our space while not being plagued by constant content moderation & censorship issues.

We will as a community strive to continue to diversify & strengthen our communication tools in order to be resilient when the war on Open Source, Open Communications and Open Source Money will rage its next escalation stages.

Upcoming Global Online Meetup on 19th of Sep - Interview with Organizer Monis from the Greek Community:

Quote
Monis: Greece is probably one of the top 5 countries in the world that is most dependent on tourism and Covid-19 has caught many businesses within this domain off-guard this year. The truth is that Greece has made many sacrifices in revamping its fiscal structure and has all it takes to outperform its peer economies in the years to come. I believe that will be the case, when the pandemic ends.

Thanks. Yes I am looking for daily liquidity of at least 1 BTC and preferably more between VND and ETH (or USDC).

Hi all.  I am American living in US and I have a question regarding VND.  I know the quoted post is talking about decentralized exchanges, etc.  My question is, are there any exchanges in Vietnam that a local business in Vietnam with a bank account can set up an account and trade ETH or USDC? There has to be liquidity and volume so that the trading prices are not absurd.  Thanks.
It's just a guess, because we don't trade there or any centralized exchange, but only Binance seems likely to get the liquidity you are implying:

Hey Woz!

Will send you a DM - can put you in touch with the head of OTC trading at BitcoinVN; the volume can be handled easily there.

"Don't steal! Your governments hate competition!"
Thanks. Yes I am looking for daily liquidity of at least several 1 BTC and preferably more between VND and ETH (or USDC).
Then probably best to ask at ETH forums, if you haven't already, or even Cardano. The latter had a significant development shop in Saigon. So, they might be more aware of the local options.
