are you solo mining or pool? I am confuse.

If using pool, try the 2 pools listed as up.

if solo, it is easy, you need a X11 miner. Look at this main page for download. Do not use "scrypt" settings. I have got close to 2.5Mhash on 290X.


 

My wallet is synched it still does not let me solo mine from it says the pool is dead I've solo mined a dozen coins before.

I got 12 nodes connected. Not sure why you would have this issue, try adding one of these...

Odd, I am having no issues with the wallet at all.
 

Was going to add some hash to this but cannot sync the wallet. No connections even adding the mentioned nodes trying to get started.

Also you can try this, delete peers.dat file & it gets fresh valid nodes.

The reason you do not want to add seeds manually to prevent forking. Only valid & working nodes are updated in DNSSEEDS. Leaving these in conf file is a bad idea if any seed  moves to wrong blockchain and most IPs are dynamic they keep changing. Unless you keep up with updating it, DNS Seed does it for your automatically.
