These are INSANE. One of yall Banksy or something?? That said there quite a few more I absolutely love, just blown away at the level of skill so many of you have,  I didn’t participate because my artistic prowess is worse than my cryptographic (hell basic pc operating knowledge) and that’s saying a lot! Maybe I’ll attempt something with one of my pumpkins on my porch here in the next day or two for fun (to give yall a laugh)

Remember, eat your pumpkins, make a pie and take it to a shelter, bake the seeds and or feed wildlife! Theymos made a great point about the importance of not being wasteful! ..I moved and live in the country side now, my security cams pick up Red Foxes, Deer, Raccoon’s, Opossums, feral cats and of course birds, squirrels, chipmunks, Ligers (pretty much my fav animal ever) etc. I’m going to learn how to prepare raw pumpkin for animals to be more entice to eat them, give them a little treat. Will share what I learn.

How to feed pumpkins to cats and dogs ( if cats and dogs lap them up, it’ll be more than enticing for wild animals)- “ https://www.foundanimals.org/pet-superfood-cook-pumpkin-cats-dogs/   - https://www.birdsandblooms.com/gardening/backyard-wildlife/recycling-pumpkins/?srsltid=AfmBOoqmz1T4doGQKFuNwl84QBemavKe4YZyDbp1lkagSieNbS73JQeg

Sorry to get too political (and/or potentially controversial).. but at the same time .. .not sorry...

Cats are carnivores, and they should not be fucking around too much with plant-based foods.

Dogs have more flexibility, like humans, even though they will probably thrive more with limitations in the quantity of their plant-based foods.

Sorry to raise potential controversy... but truly a lot of cats do not get proper nutrients if they are not mostly eating meats.

The wild-life angle.. sure some of the wildlife will tolerate and maybe even get benefits from pumpkins.  i am not going to claim to be an expert... even though many of us likely realize that farm raised chickens are fed too many grains, yet in nature they would eat a lot of variety of foods, including bugs.. and probably pumpkins too. .not that it would be particularly good for them or bad for them, and likely in nature many animals are able to figure out decent balances when a variety of food sources are available, then they will figure out what to eat.... and tend to not get obese like humans tend to do (especially in modern times), and in modern times, there are quite a decent number of humans (Americans - and sure some other cultures too) who start to get obese before they are even adults... hahahahaha.. go figure.

You mf! Jk jk, dude, you’re talking to an animal lover here, I’m glad you brought up concerns. If you read through both articles in detail (and I read through many others) it dives deeper in to whats what. Now as for cats, domesticated cats, the vast majority of their food and treats include some sort of non-meat veggie. Looking at my ferals food, both dry, wet and treats all contain corn, soy etc (and quite frankly a bunch of shit I know is by product that’s probably not great for them (just like my fat ass is about to eat a protein bar with preservatives and sugar (one of the most harmful and addictive drugs on the planet).  However in those links it discusses for cats and dogs to just feed the seeds (after properly cleaned and cooked). I’m actually drying the seeds out now to be baked shortly and will throw a little in after well ground up with their food. They are filled with vitamins and nutrients actually goof for stomach health. These will not be a meal, but an additive to their food for nutrition. I am definitely NOT feeding them whole pumpkin.  Cats, like dogs, are domesticated and their stomachs have adapted but still yes, some veggies are not good for them and some in moderation are fine (pumpkin is one that is fine). However you’re right in that cats do need meat more than dogs and many other animals as a way to obtain and retain water. Thats why my cats get a mix. Of course higher brand dry food is better for cats as is dogs (my bsby girl who passed last year at 99.9% royal canine yorkie specific kibble ( It’s not cheap ). She has absolutely zero interest in fruits or veggies or even dog ice cream, but she was a sneaky shit 4 x 5 time I know of and she got steak and French fries off my plate when she was younger. She shit her brains out and learned her lesson.

Everyone should know their own pets well enough. My cats are ferals, whom live in an oasis and fed as well as I possibly can. Even big cats in the wild get important nutrients through plants, though indirectly through their pray.

So to a large extent im in agreement.  Also for sure , the pumpkins (I cut in small squares, mixed with veggies and fruits will be a real supreme treat for any of the night crawlers I get each night here. The squirrels will probably be first, but I’ve got that plate out in front of a security cam to see if something gets it tonight first. It’s rainy and nasty out so they likely won’t be as active as normal.
