We have been waiting for this for a long time now, and yet it's not forthcoming, that shows the market has a mind of its own and does things at the right time. I have stopped waiting and try doing my best like investing in the way I can, holding etc while hoping the altcoin season comes one day. Also I have stopped listening to those predicting one thing or the other because it only raises hope and then dash it on the floor.
Waiting for an altcoin to pumps would take time and definitely maybe by next year after the halving that is why it is much better to accumulate more and buy only the altcoin that has potential tl increase the value.
And patience is really the key since it wlll take a lot of time.

Seeing the market for the last two days, it will take time for the altcoins season to start. What an horrible market is this?
I'm surprised that bitcoin made some great movement this year but altcoin remains stagnant, however, I believe most alts are gaining more momentum to take off pretty soon so I guess it worth the wait.

I never expected anything to be easy maybe thats why i dont get worried about present market price
The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens,the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain,its never going to be that easy.
If we look at and compare the current year and a few years ago, 2017 is indeed a very profitable year because in that year there was a bullrun and maybe it can still happen but it requires some time and factors that can support the bullrun. And i'm sure some people already seen it's potential and will make it hype in the future. So, it's the best time for us to collect as many as we can

If an altcoin season occurs, then it will be fabulous. But until then, it will be better to concentrate on Bitcoin. Some attention can be given to the most promising ones out of the established altcoins, such as Ethereum and Litecoin. Investment in new projects and the little known altcoins needs to be postponed until the start of the next altcoin bull run.
Your points are valid but saying "investing in new altcoins need to be postponed till next altcoin season" doesn't work that way for day traders. Even with the bad market, I make little profit from most trades, though not always while trading altcoins. Well, the bulk of my portfolio is in BTC. ETH is one alt I'm accumulating gradually preparing for staking when the time comes (ETH 2.0 launch) , hoping it's worth it. 
Since 2017 bullrun gone everything is turn to bad shape. But i still expecting next "hype" for cryptocurrency maybe next year? We'll see. The interest of investor on cryptocurrency faded and its a fact. We need someting to trigger "hype" so investor will back again. It just my personal opinion 
To see the altcoin season maybe we should use a long time, because altcoin is not going to be fast because there is no sign of a revival in the crypto market, I think many have fallen after the market fought in 2017 and hope the altcoin season will arrive soon, until today not yet anyone can predict when it will happen and also the experts are very difficult to analyze it, I also hope the altcoin season will come back again
I don’t know how it’s possible to return altcoins to their previous ATH because the fall turned out to be too strong and it will take a lot of time to recover, but since I continue to buy altcoins now, I’ll be happy with altcoins growth at least 10 times
Waiting for altcoin season? I have stopped this because I have learnt that the market is ruled by many factors such as emotions, news; which in one way or the other affect this space. It's better to trade, Invest or do whatsoever you love doing in this crypto space while keeping tabs on the market. Waiting fully for altcoins season might make one lose his mind or even worst. At the right time, it will set in but no one knows when.

There's a need of good assessment before you decide whether to invest with alts or continue to focus with bitcoin since the market still uncertain.There's a big risk if you failed to make a proper analysis, the market can go down and trapped you out for much longer time, it's better to invest
with bitcoin or those high volume coins which still moving so you can performed scalp trading.
And what markets are you now following from the growing ones? Probably even any solutions you can recommend? Cause I am not an expert, so would definitely be interested to talk to experienced person here
