investing in crypto does require patience. especially when we enter the crypto market after 2017. because since 2018 bitcoin has continued to decline and this has an impact on the altcoin movement which has also declined. plus now most of the ICO scams are making investors not want to invest in new ICO and altcoin. they prefer to invest in bitcoin. but I believe when bitcoin experiences a bullrun again then altcoin will also follow. even though it requires quite a long time. so we really have to be patient. no success is achieved easily we must work hard, be patient and never give up.
Not only for altcoin season, i think it is same for bitcoin too.
Seems like cryptocurrency market need some time to reach the bull run like on the last time (2017).
Meanwhile, we can keep accumulating good coins with the money we have.

I never expected anything to be easy maybe thats why i dont get worried about present market price
The first time i decided to invest in crypto was after the last bullrun of 2017 and i knew that 2017 was a big chance and i missed it since i never entered this space very earlier before the bullrun so after bear market takes over what comes straight to my mind was 'its never going to be easy to see a big change in market movement like 2017'and since then i just keep my head up and find other means of living yet i cant do without investing in coins and tokens,the next altcoin season might not come anytime sooner but only those who are in hurry will be in pain,its never going to be that easy.
Not only does it require time, but there must also be factors that can increase the price of all coins so that for the moment I personally pay more attention to the development and movement of the coins I have and certainly hope that the altcoin season will come soon. I have stopped waiting for the altcoin season. For me, I now ride the bear, whatever happens, I take full responsibility for my actions. Some persons still make money from this bear market.
I am like you who missed a growth of Altcoin, but please be patient because this is a long game, please wait to enjoy what we have missed. Know which good altcoins have the potential to help you not in 2019 but may be longer.
I know lots of us here are expecting so much for the altcoins season, were most of the crypto fanatic are buying coins at the low price then hold, for believing that when bull runs come, the price will bounce in the market too, just like what last 2017. So we shouldn't rush ourselves for this to be happen quickly.
Moments like 2017 are still highly anticipated until now, because in that year altcoin managed to skyrocket with extraordinary. But slowly the price fell back to the lowest level, and until now the price of altcoin on the market is still bleeding. In early 2019 altcoin is expected to increase again, but until now there have been no definite development. Is it possible that at the end of 2019 altcoin can make an extraordinary breakthrough so that it can repeat the achievements as in 2017.? 
When we were in 2018, we thought 2019 would be really nice with increasing alts. Now we want 2020 to be profitable. Would this be the same in 2020? Probably. Maybe we will not see a bull season in the next 3-4 years, no one can predict that in my opinion.
Waiting altseason when is come true with altcoin higher price and more dominance than bitcoin, Altcoin price not still lower and bitcoin still dominance than altcoin and make investor many invest with bitcoin than we buy or invest with altcoin, usually altcoin season always at the end of years and we are waiting with altcoin season.
Everything needs its time, and you always need to be patient, especially in this industry. But guys, as soon as bull market arrives, this wait will be worth every minute. Even if it comes in 2022, I will wait for another hype wave.

If you are waiting for an altcoin season like that of the last quarter of 2017, then that could be far fetched. But in short time frame, if BTC keeps hovering between $8000-$8300, then altcoins might see some gains. The reason behind this is that the panic sentiment has increased when it comes to BTC. So, there might be a shift towards altcoins which has suffered a lot lately and thus, give better opportunities in terms of gains. But if bitcoin falls bello 8k, then there will be more in altcoins too.

2017 is indeed a very exciting and profitable year for many people who invest in cryptocurrency and many people who experience the same thing as you and also many who start investing after the bullrun. Yes, there might be a while before we see the phenomenon called the alt-season again. I don't know when it happens, but the full altcoin season might be more than a year away.
But until then, there might be a bit of price action and a few half alt seasons every now and then!

The comeback of altcoins will take time indeed. Here in Bitcointalk, far less people are posting even with the amount of spam. Even more less are on the announcement sections of coins that used to be hot back in 2017. I firmly believe it would take Bitcoin to reclaim ATH price before altcoins become rejuvenated again.
I strongly agree with you. I've been on Crypto Twitter for a while now and everyone has been blindly calling for AltZeason but The big question is when? By now, It's quite obvious that Altcoins aren't getting as much demand like it had in 2017. Even news like mainnet launch come and go without any movement in prices. If it does move ("If"), It'll go sideways 👇
You need to approach the alt season with good coins, I think that BTZC will be growing very much on the alt season and it should be bought on Probit on September 30, where they have IEO
The fact that they successfully conducted an IEO doesn't make it a "good" coin. I think you shouldn't based your opinion on that. This is 2019. People aren't not longer investing blindly.
Most of the traders also believes that before the alt coins season, Bitcoin will takeover first and reach another ATH. sooner alts will begin to be recognize and gain attentions to investors who loves diverting their assets, same with what happened last 2017, where after bitcoin party alts also start its own bull season. it takes time, if you have spare money you can accumulate and hold whatever coin you prefer to support.
I'm not so sure we have to wait for BTC to hit its ATH before alts increase. Sure, maybe that's how things play out. But if we look back at 2017, alts had a pretty nice summer before btc went on its crazy run. These things tend to move in cycles ... while BTC is resting, alts may come out to play a bit before the halvening. All depends on where whales want to go.
From my point of view, this is the time for investing or accumulating altcoins and bitcoin. There is a change that glory of 2017 market situation will come again in mid 2020 due to big event called bitcoin halving reward event. Lets hope for the best.
