All good things to those who wait
https://www.ccn.com/bitcoin-etf-could-attract-billions-in-new-investment-vaneck/

...
Gurbacs predicted that a bitcoin ETF could perform much like a traditional gold ETF. Institutional investors, who do not want to take risks by investing in bitcoin via less secure and safe spot markets, could find ETFs as a go-to option. As a result, the very first day of a BTC ETF could attract as much as $1 billion in investments.

“Our gold ETFs are already in a few billion dollars range,” Gurbacs added. “There are gold ETFs in $10 billion range as well. I wouldn’t be surprised if a bitcoin ETF gets in a few billion dollars range.”
....

I don't understand what he means - few billions a day? For a comparison what is the total investment in all gold ETF's per year and per day?

Because the media, and legacy finances including banking, and 99% of the political establishment are all on the left. We are on the right. That's why.

Just curious, do you think that’s correct? Most of us are on the right here? Personally I lean slightly towards far right.

I do not lean to the authoritarian right.

Neither do I lean toward the authoritarian left.

Make of it what you will.
What's your opinion on the horseshoe theory?

Where do you stand on hats? 1

Nobody talk about this.

Who are those last two? And are they adults? Cheesy Just asking for research purposes.

Judging by the facial features of the top set, I ask myself the same question regarding them though not for the same purposes as your question about the lower pair (I think).

Let's just say hypothetically that the BCH fork(s) takes place on November 15 ... then wouldn't bitcoin actually experience upwards price pressures, rather than downwards based on a kind of resolution of some of the uncertainty

I take your point.

In this case I don’t believe there is any uncertainty to play out.   The fork will occur and there will be a hash war between two (or more) forks that few care about.

BTC might go up due to buying pressure of speculators selling their BCH and buying BTC.  But more likely the entire market will go down a notch when BCH dumps.

Looking at the current uncertain market, If I had a bch bag I would trade it all im for tether and wait until BTC has stabilised more. And then buy Bitcoin.

Didn't you two come out and pack it in last night? Somebody needs to read back the minutes of that meeting... Roll Eyes

Could be indicating that we’re close to a trend reversal?

Well that is the question everyone is asking.

My personal view is “no” because November is the strongest month of the year and so far our performance has been mediocre at best.  If we were out of the bear market we should smash $7k.  But we aren’t.

I believe there is another big leg down below $5800 before we can bottom.  But I can’t predict how low it will be. We will know it when we see it.

These forks, Its all a nice big coincidence that will enable some huge bagholders to cash out some coins in a good pump.

I predict a shitstorm after, and some exchanges might go offline or something wile the dump happens trapping loads of people.

Sentiment is running comparatively high.  Which may be a contra-indicator.  First time I have seen it neutral.

Could be indicating that we’re close to a trend reversal? Would be very, very nice if so. Feels like years we’ve been in a bear market even though in reality it’s only been 10-11 months.

I’ve been worrying about the current bear market gaining momentum again & nose diving down to $3,xxx. I actually had a dream that happened the other night.

Any way, fingers crossed this means we’re close to going on an upward curve now.

Mind sharing the source? Would be interesting to know what data is behind this.
