Flippin' burgers since 1163.
Sentiment is running comparatively high.  Which may be a contra-indicator.  First time I have seen it neutral.

Mind sharing the source? Would be interesting to know what data is behind this.

edit: its not 777 anymore going for 7,777 Roll Eyes

Did I take your prediction on the last game (7777)? 7 is a nice number indeed, 7 of them would be even better! Smiley

How do you guys deal with excessive drinking? I mean, I'm functional, but would still like to cut down.

I started drinking excessively when I was quite young, maybe around 18-19 years old, when more money started coming in and I moved away from my parents. Though I started drinking much earlier, first blackout was already at the age of 11. Wrong choice of friends and parents didn't give too much attention either. When 24, I got hospitalised partly (well, you could say mainly) due to drinking, had a 4-day party streak, ate nothing, didn't drink any water, so my body was lacking all the nutritional stuff and was dehydrated. When I finally ate, I got a serious food poisoning, which I deemed as a really bad hangover. I drank around 25 beers to that with some water and ate lots of fatty food, my insides were already inflammated at that point. When I got to the hospital almost every organ in my body had inflammation, doctors gave me around 10% chance to live, my belly was as big as I was carrying quadruplets inside of it.

I never even once thought myself that I'm going to die, just enjoyed the morphine. Got better in a few weeks, but from the all-around inflammation a cyst was developed and stayed in my body between some big arteries. Normally it's just sucked out with a needle, I needed it surgically removed. All this kept me away from alcohol for 5.5 years, after a year or so being totally sober I started smoking weed daily (had smoked it occasionally before ofcourse).

I did a full health check every year and I did not develop any long-term damages whatsoever, all the organs are functioning 100% and did not get damaged in the process, guess I got lucky, but it was also probably due to my young age and good health overall.

The longest drinking-spree after that has been a week, just a couple of weeks ago when I was on my holiday, but now after every 2-3 beers I drink a minimum of 0.5l water and make sure that I eat properly. And I rarely take strong alcohol anymore, maybe twice a year and the amounts are very small. Only beer and my doctors are ok with it, I still get my health checked yearly and at the last check doctor was amazed of my health overall, everything was in perfect order and the blood-test was not in the normal range, but ideal.

I do take longer breaks now and then, last year I drank nothing for 8 months and my new break started this Monday, trying to be sober for at least 6 months. That meaning being 100% sober, no alcohol, no weed, no psychedelics.

Just thought of sharing this. When you drink, make sure you keep hydrated and eat properly. A glass or two of water after every few shots or beers.

And exercise, if you're lazy then just go for a walk 3-4 days a week, 5km each let's say. That has a huge benefit already.

Stay healthy.

Merit drop!

Next three people get 20. You know the drill.

I always miss these, I want to wear the hat already Cheesy

How do you guys deal with excessive drinking? I mean, I'm functional, but would still like to cut down.

I had to just stop it all together, and sought the support of AA for a few years. If you feel that you may have developed a physical dependency, (like having to drink everyday to avoid the shakes,) I would seek medical advice before attempting to stop or cut down.
It's not a physical dependency, more stress related. All the personal shit that used to fuck with me is taken care of; finances, personal freedom, usual bullshit. What's bothering me now is that as far as I can tell the entire west is heading towards a financial and cultural collapse. Soviet style on a grand scale.

My health is actually improving even as I continue to drink almost as much as before. But it's a bad habit that has to be gotten rid of.

... take up weed? ditch the booze, caffeine treadmill.

then you can migrate through the full spectrum, shrooms, acid, powders, crack, smack and meth ... the final stop being fentanyl

booze will be the last of your worries at that point, i can guarantee it.

Are you saying that weed is a gateway drug to all the others? Then beer is a gateway drink to vodka and alcoholism? I know many who have never even tried strong alcohol, but like beer. Same with weed, know lots of peeps who do only that and have never tried anything stronger.

Can't say that for myself though, have tried mostly everything in the drug and alcohol range, though being in the hospital showed me what opiates do and I will stay far away from them in my everyday life, don't want to be a vegetable.

But all that is in the past now, just doing some psychedelics (once a year maybe) and weed (couple of times in a quarter). That will stop also, I feel like I've gotten out of them what I needed and it's time to move on.

Back from the holiday and what I see, out of the 64xx area and seeing 65xx, YEEHAW! Is this the massive pump everyone was talking about? Cheesy

Didn't check the price much while I was away, though read the forum couple of times, now I have loads of pages to go through and see what's been going on Smiley

don't expect to MUCH, the price was only going sideways and boring as F***..... hope you had a good time out there, clearing the head in a nice country as sri lanka.

i go next mont on a 3 day trip, but F*** i could use a proper vacation

Yeah, got my head clear and a nice tan, which I needed. Chilling under palm trees is always fun Smiley The motorbike accident wasn't something I wanted, but it didn't exclude me doing anything besides swimming the last 6 days.

Uuuhhh, took me 3 days to go through the pages, wanted to get into more discussions but laziness got over Smiley

Have a great day everyone!

Broward county, the site of one of the previous false flag shooting, gun grab attempts, attempts to rig Florida election.  This county just so happens to have the most Jews on the planet outside of NYC and Israel.  I'm sure that has absolutely nothing to do with these (((events)))!

Perhaps another indication of 50/50... which supports the uncertainty until 11/16-ish thesis that I already mentioned?  and some progression towards willingness to be bullish and that the btc bottom is already in?  I am not opposed to any contra-indicator thesis, though.

Let's just say hypothetically that the BCH fork(s) takes place on November 15 ... then wouldn't bitcoin actually experience upwards price pressures, rather than downwards based on a kind of resolution of some of the uncertainty

I take your point.

In this case I don’t believe there is any uncertainty to play out.   The fork will occur

That's a pretty strong assertion, right there.

I suggested a greater than 70% chance that a Bcash hardfork(s) would occur, and you are asserting that such outcome is closer to 100%.  Sure, I am willing to come up a bit, and maybe I lack information and lack confidence, but I also know that there are a bunch of trickster fuckwads who are playing around, and likely a lot of the decision to fork or not remains in the hands of only a few players (perhaps dimwit Craig Wright and a few others on that particular team could decide, yay or nay.  You really put it past those scammers to NOT be playing the situation?  and pull some last minute resolution (or temporary resolution) out of their hats (or asses?)?

and there will be a hash war between two (or more) forks that few care about.

Yes.  The better scenario for everyone would be that the fork happens, and the totality of dimwits get sucked into further irrelevancy - but the world usually does NOT pass by with such rosie and clear outcomes.  Sure, it could happen, and maybe decent odds for such, but far from clear from my perspective, anyhow.

BTC might go up due to buying pressure of speculators selling their BCH and buying BTC.  But more likely the entire market will go down a notch when BCH dumps.

This is getting more into the 50/50 territory, as far as I can see, even from your description, and when I am seeing anything approaching 50/50 then that has an air of uncertainty, at least regarding the way I see things.  So, I conclude uncertainty in the market and even uncertainty in which way the BTC price goes, as well as the rest of the market.  Maybe in terms of the affect on bitcoin there is a kind of bullish bias in me and a bit of a bearish bias in you which kind of replicates how we had already been inclined prior to the nearing of this bcash hard fork battle matter?

I bought some bitcoin over spot price but the guy assured me it was purchased before the BCH split so I'm now sitting on these pre-fork coins.

Totally going to take advantage of the split.

wait...what?

Yeah... I don't think it works like that.

You cannot receive both the Bcash and the Bitcoin from prefork coins unless they are sent in separate transactions.  The guy still has the bcash in his old account, and he has to send you the bcash separately for your seemingly devious little plan to work.  Somebody want to say that I am wrong?

Obviously he purchased the private keys from a trusted source Wink

Surely a puzzling situation, and that's why we cannot have nice things.

Some supposed "trusted source" is going to screw things up, and hopefully the amount lost (and/or the lesson learned) did not cost too much?

Because the media, and legacy finances including banking, and 99% of the political establishment are all on the left. We are on the right. That's why.

Just curious, do you think that’s correct? Most of us are on the right here? Personally I lean slightly towards far right.

I do not lean to the authoritarian right.

Neither do I lean toward the authoritarian left.

Make of it what you will.
What's your opinion on the horseshoe theory?
