Pump in progress!  Cheesy

$45k touched.

EDIT: Grayscale fees  Cheesy Tongue

I have a couple of shares of The Bitcoin Fund (3iQ) ticker symbol QBTC on the TSX where management fees are %1.95.  Maybe this will push them to lower the fees.  Initially, they were %2.5 and my first though was how half of the held bitcoin would be eaten up by fees in 20 years but since they were TFSA eligible, I figured I'd be saving the taxes I would have had to pay on the profits and the TFSA doesn't allow for bitcoin self-custody (yet).   Also, there are no comparable assets to bitcoin and I don't want to be that bitebits guy rolling in fiat reserves from his McDonalds gig Tongue

Currently working on a project for a client of mine, payment processing related. When we talk about factions of a percentage, it really sounds so minuscule.

However, just 0.22% is enough to shelve the project and stick with what is working now.

Why, because when you bring it back to "in-cash" terms, you are a looking at a difference of over $220,000.00

So when we see these ETF fees, just remember they are skimming potentially $300,000,000.00 every year! ($100B Bitcoin ETF)

Damn, the fee for BlackRock’s Bitcoin ETF will be 0.30% as per their just filed S-1. This is much cheaper than I predicted. Life just got a LOT tougher for everyone else. The ETF Terrordome is no joke.

@EricBalchunas
But wait, ARK just dropped their fee to 0.25% in an S-1 filed 20 minutes after BlackRock’s. Told y’all the fee war would break out bf they even launched. And this is w out Vanguard on the mix. Damn.

This is the kind of updates I would release only in the final hours before the green light. Management fees are the main weapons for ETF issuers.
I wouldn't have expected so low fees.

Me neither. It looks like the competition has already started. All signs indicate there will be a party in 2 days!  Wink
