“Congress gave the Fed a monopoly over money,” Mr. Warsh said. “

Which was fraudulent and in violation of the US Constitution

ok, perhaps. but it's been accepted as normal, allowed, and legal for... what, something like 100 years now? what, precisely, do you expect to be done about it? to remove the fed's power is nigh impossible. it would likely require literal war and revolution to bring down the government as we know it and build something new, or at least closer to the original constitution if that's the goal.

i say the same thing to any theory - like faked moon landings or flat earth or less insane ones like this Fed thing. ok, so maybe you're right. what's your point? what do you want to be DONE about it, and what will that change? are you going to do it? do you think you can actually effect change at all?
Many folks, myself included, are fascinated by bitcoin because a belief that it can take down the Fed and the other central banks.  The concept of bitcoin is very powerful.

Maybe 10,000 us$ by the end of the weekend?

Just found on Facebook, very interesting interview -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l6Obc_cJba4

I think HODL for another 3-4 years might be a must. I bought in 2013 and its worth 20x then when I bought. I think in 3-4 years it could be 100x.

RT and bitcoin cash ceo, no comment...

Bcash CEO, I thought that too and I wondered that he only mentions and talks about Bitcoin.

RT? Way better than western propaganda media.

2 more pages on ignore. enviroment, politics, bla, bla, bla. So many sick people around here. It's time for infofront to take some action Smiley delete, ban, delete, ban.

Infofront can only delete, and he cannot ban.

Sure, me too, just skimming the past several pages, but some of those environmentalism topics are potentially more interesting than some of the other topics - and yeah environmentalism has been one of the stupid-ass talking points of Ethereum - and perhaps other shit coins that are trying to suggest ways to denigrate bitcoin for supposed energy inefficiencies.... .yet I say, who gives a ratt's ass about bitcoin's supposed energy inefficiencies when the energy consumed is a part of proof of work, is decentralized and is in fact used for securing a very important asset that may well consume the whole globe in terms of publicly ledgerizing value.

A hardware wallet is a total waste of money in my opinion. Especially if you are a hodler.

And if you are a spender? Why not just use a cellphone?

You create your seed/priv key, you make some modifications on it so only you can unlock the balance, write down them on a paper, make multiple copies; or just memorize the damn thing.

Want to spend/use btc actively? Just install a ios/android wallet like greenwallet...

Anyway I know slush is making big money on those that's why they are being highly advertised.  I would just buy more bitcoins for that $100 and put them on a paper wallet for free..
You don't have a lot of money. For those who do, HW wallets are not optional.

I don't remember I revealed my btc address. How do you know? How much is a too much money anyway?
Prove it then. Show the world how wrong I am. I tremble in anticipation.

I wish we could have this e-peen competition without, you know, the risk of negative consequences. It would be so much fun.
Completely off the record and with no proof, what are your holdings? Just as a ballpark figure.

You go first.

I don't see the relevance.

Are you saying that a hardware wallet is safer than a paper wallet? Is this what you are saying?

Hardware wallets may in fact be more secure than a paper wallet on several ways (not all).

I have a couple of Ledger Nano S, but don't fully utilize them. By default, it looks like Chrome extensions are the preferred interface, I don't trust that. Electrum on Linux supports it, I trust that more. I keep multiple paper wallets, one per year. If I get to the point of cashing out much, it's helpful to be able to have a hard date on the blockchain of when I owned it. I'm not sure how to incorporate that into Ledger. I know about the optional hidden space.

Opendime hardware looks cool, but it's more of a one-shot thing. Good for basic transfers off-chain. You can't easily back it up, and it may not accept going through the washing machine well.

Chrome extensions are dead dying.  Ledger is working on their own interface now.
