If the market moves strongly to Bitcoin Cash over Bitcoin Core, then the narrative that 'Bitcoin Cash is The Real Bitcoin' will have been proven true.

I'm not proud to admit this, but I've done my fair share of illicit substances during my lifetime. It seems you have a line on some heretofore unknown consumable that I would love to sample !

These are some pretty freaking vivid fantasies you are having !!!

Well, I recognize that I'm not looking very prescient on this so far. But there's enough bubbling in the plotline such that this may develop more as an epic rather than a short story.

I'd say we're overdue for 30% correction. But I don't condone it.

It would not surprise me..

I wouldn't even mind it tbh

Me neither, only what would trigger it?

Profit taking? Today one year ago Bitcoin was $580. That's 8X your money.

Profit taking would not trigger, you do that carefully, not to kill the goose with the golden eggs... .

I just thought about all the whales and if a big shot decides to liquidate his positions. But then again I don't know what the consequences would be.

What was that in January? Did the Chinese sell their Bitcoins because it was the new year? That was a ~30% correction and I was in the middle of it. If something like this happens again we have our impending doom moment.

If BCH succeeds in killing BTC, then:
1) There will be a general crash in crypto because it will be proved that they can be killed by such attacks; and
2) There are many better coins than BCH to play with.

Nonsense. If the market moves strongly to Bitcoin Cash over Bitcoin Core, then the narrative that 'Bitcoin Cash is The Real Bitcoin' will have been proven true.

*Brute force will solve any Bitcoin problem*
Good morning Bitcoinland.

Basically sideways, down ever so slightly... currently $4570USD/$5765CAD (BitcoinAverage).

Meanwhile, AltcoinCash is still slowly creeping down... to $565USD/$708CAD (Coinmarketcap).

Just a boring day of consolidation after yesterday's rise. I think I need extra rich coffee. Yawn.

take your profits while you can  Wink

I prefer to take my profits in Bitcoin.  Cool

Does anyone use Bitfinex much? I sold my B*CH there and tried to send a large bitcoin payment and it's not even showing up on the network yet.

The Bitfinex message says it is "queued for processing".

How long is that supposed to take?

Have you confirmed it via the confirmation email?

nvm, just checked through their documentation and it said withdrawals could take 12 hours.

I used to use Bitfinex as a wallet way back in the day. Guess that is not a thing anymore.

It never was. I used to use cryptsy as my multi-coin wallet, was very easy but not the best choice I made.

Is it a new account? (if its less than 5 days old or 2fa is - this could delay things)

How large is large? (this could delay things -need manual approval)

A pull back would not be unhealthy

This move may still have legs before we  correct ... (players playing  withstanding)

Overall - zoom out there is still lots of money that wants to come into BTC - remember.... what is that going to look like?

Play with fire and you get burned sometimes I guess...
The GS prediction makes me feel less bad that I have an open hedged short position from back in the day when BTC was $3960.

@Mrpumperitis: Are you saying shit is about to hit the fan? When big money is at stake I trust nobody's opinion, only the facts count.

I do intend to catch that movement though if it actually DOES happen. We are not close to $4800 though. It might turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy if everyone gets scared as we approach it.

heres one reason i think so, that i just shared....read comments and decide yourselves...
my advice...sell while its high...and many may disagree ...
i say...buy bitcoin cash while its still cheap (no need to get into a debate, its only ihmo, read ,research then decide if its for you, your choice)
 Smiley

lol

Or are you pointing out the bitcoin days destroyed?  3000 coins from early 2010 ... hmm it is interesting...

Are you trying to imply these are Satoshis coins  ?

Or do you think this is Roj?

You saying you think these  coins are going to get dumped?

It could be they just want to get at their BCH that get dumped?

3000 coins moved....  in of itself is not much to go  on.. yet
