We clearly have had different experiences of marriage.

You two should marry each other and learn something together. That's the beauty of matrimony.

If you are married, there is a transferable capital gains tax allowance. So if your wife doesn't book any capital gains, that's £22k tax free.
It's one of the only tax benefits of being married.
There are other benefits of course. Just not related to the tax system.

What are the other benefits??

Thanks.

Rjclarke2000= married man.

Not going to get into that whole discussion here. Hopefully if you're happily married and have been together for a while you have figured it out for yourself.

Arrr. Youre talking about ladies-and-gentlemen. I highly recommend doing ladies-and-gentlemen, whilst high on gentlemen. Experience it while you can, cos the opportunity only comes around once in a while.
You don't need to be married for either of those things, and in fact marriage tends to get in the way of them.

That's because it is a discussion you know you would lose.

On a Sunday morning, if your wife likes you, she'll come into your separate bedroom, peel back your quilted nylon bedspread and give you a dry peck on the cheek when you wake up.

And every July you're allowed to trade lawn mowing for sexual intercourse one time, but don't expect her to stop crying.

You're never too old to think young.
Just woke up to use the can and now I see $2724USD at Stamp, 2404EUR at Bitcoinaverage and $3716CAD at Google. Wow.  Shocked

Now I don't want to go back to bed. Gotta be a correction soon.

In the meantime, obscene paper profits are being made. Thank god they're only taxed as capital gains and not as income here, and there are no taxes to be paid until they are sold.

it's going so fast. Ho many % in one month ?
Over 100% !!

On a side note, anyone know somewhere in the UK that accepts BTC for a nice car?

Congratulations - enjoy the well earned BTC =)

If it's more than £11K watch out for CGT, who knows what data from kyc/aml is passed to HMRC behind the scenes. Probably better to hold 20% for a year in reserve just in case.
Thanks for the heads up.
Makes buying a Nice car less fun :-(

There is an enormous benefit, but it's for her. She can take half your shit and your kids any time she likes for any reason or no reason.

Bitcoin FTW!
this now qualifies as parabolic rise. Be ready
We've been ready for a couple of years for this. Perhaps new traders won't take the right precautions when this bubble pops, but that is still a little far in the future. Great time for miners right now, difficulty isn't horrible and price just keeps rising. Good for all of us.

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

I don't trade with leverage.

I sold ALL of my trading stash, and can now sleep at night without worrying about a dump that is, IMO, not far off.

You assert that I am misreading the charts, yet you don't provide any of your own analysis.

My only regret is taking you off ignore again.

My regret is you quoting him.

My regret is that you have to feel some kind of compunction to engage in talking about person rather than the wonderful topic of bitcoin

You can regret all that you like.

I provide plenty of analysis through my multiple posts.

And, I don't leverage either... that would be really silly.

I sell on the way up and i buy on the way down and I am pretty neutral towards price direction.

I do expect prices to go into the $3 to $5k territory.. most likely around $4k for the correction
been saying that for quite a long time and the current market seems to be making that more likely.

Wonder if Circle regret dropping out of the Bitcoin ecosystem?

I certainly regret them dropping out, it's way too hard to get cheap Bitcoin directly without ID

they're still in it. they're one of the signers of barry silbert's thing and i think they do still use bitcoin in the background of their system, though they're probably looking for alternatives.

Just as much as anybody else would dropping out of Bitcoin. Big mistake, and this just emphasizes it. Fast and hard rise now, this could be what brings us to $3K. More likely another correction and pump today though.
