Yeah, he was the guy who crated the whole 'antifragility' concept.  I have no idea who first applied the concept to Bitcoin.  Sorry.

When I get bored on trains I find a newspaper and insert the word 'pants' somewhere into every headline which brightens every page. I kind of get the same feeling with that word.

'Bitcoin outlawed', antifragile.

'Bitcoin forks into 934 different chains', antifragile.

'Bitcoin causes impotence and herpes in users', antigfragile.

Blaaaaaaaah.

I won't be happy until they make 'the cloud' antifragile by implementing it via a blockchain. Wink
(sorry, I could only think of 3 buzzwords on short notice.  I bet some of you can do much better Wink)

anti-fragile (colloquial use of the word, FU jbreher).

Haha - you're destroying yet another word. 'Colloquial' implies 'in widespread use'. The only person I've ever seen use 'anti-fragile' in a consistently inverse manner is you.

If you wish to be understood, you'd be better served by employing words in a manner consistent with their definitions.

And we already went over this.  "Anti-fragile" is a mostly hypothetical word that doesn't really apply to bitcoin at all, yet the word is constantly used to describe bitcoin, so it must have some type of colloquial definition in this context.  You keep trying to claim I invented the use of this word to describe bitcoin when I didn't.  Probably some random guy like Antonopolous started it, but I don't remember.

Nassim Nicholas Taleb started it:

https://www.amazon.com/Antifragile-Things-That-Disorder-Incerto/dp/0812979680

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nassim_Nicholas_Taleb

He did not state bitcoin was "anti-fragile", he stated he didn't even understand bitcoin lol.  It was Antonopolous that said bitcoin is anti-fragile:

gata be on a ball for this one, time is of the essence, the second its approved spam this thread with rocket gifs, that will be the signal  Cool

I don't think not enough gif rockets will be of use, if you want to ride this rollercoaster you can't sleep and you must F5 every fucking second in the webpage of the sec.

I still haven't made any moves, I may not do anything. I was about to bet 5 BTC back then for a Hillary Clinton win, and I was so happy next morning knowing that I played safe and did nothing.

Who is to say that this is not the same thing again? fucking odds can make you broke.

I'm so very tired. Yay bitcoin! I broke even from my investment  Cool

I think you need to go and see a doctor steve.
That's besides the point! Just realized I am $5 away from breaking even.
Almost!!

Having better luck than me it seems. My iPhone did that thing where it moved the buttons under my finger because the keyboard was going away or whatever, and anyway, dumped my whole trade balance @1178. I've been waiting this whole time trying to get in at or below that point, even thinking, "Maybe this is a blessing in disguise" because honestly, I've never really traded before, and I'm not too good at it. So I'm just glad I know how to use a stop order, because mine just now filled @ around 1189, a loss for sure, but it's currently 1193-1196, and I have my balances balanced again and can stop stressing  Embarrassed
Many are the fuck ups I have made trading bitcoin like this over the years. You live and learn to be so careful touching every damn button. Always use a computer when playing with your entire livelihood!

$1200 ON STAMP!!!! Next stop moon. Even with all the FUD and BS out there we are back at $1200. ETF or not I am feeling good

Heh, yea, those thoughts immediately went through my head. I prefer my desktop anyway, as it's faster, but now that I've seen firsthand how much damage can be done with touchscreen, pfff, never again. It was so messed up, because I could tell when I was checking the market this morning that it was looking bullish, and I was actually getting ready to place several small limit sell orders along the way up, much higher up, when that happened. By the way, it wasn't my entire livelihood by any means, just about 60% of my bitcoins that I keep on the exchange. I have more, and more that I do for a living for that matter, but for me that was the biggest dump I'll probably ever do, ever lmao  Cheesy

Who bought at the bottom?

I bought at $1133.69.

Unfortunately, it was only buying back the tiny fraction that I had sold an hour earlier at $1166.69.

Good morning Bitcoinland.

I hadn't planned on buying until after the ETF decision but last night's deeper dip was too much to pass up, so I spent half the fiat I'd saved for the occasion... got in at about $1150USD.

I'm glad I did... it's now up to $1193USD (Bitcoinaverage).

I still plan on buying more on the dip if the ETF is rejected, or buying the first real dip after the initial euphoria if it's approved.

Go bitcoin go. Go Winks go.  Cool

if approved your probably better off buying ASAP rather than waiting years for the "first real dip after the initial euphoria"
