Have you guys heard about Bitstamp? We use Bitstamp in these here parts (including chart buddy uses it.. did you see the posts by our lil chart buddy?..) in regards to these kinds of "official" numbers.. so figuring out when to celebrate (or not) at the factually accurate time.
But yeah you might prematurely (or postmaturely) celebrate. That's on you.... There are reasons to be on the same page in regards to some of these kinds of price triggers.. but hey you can do you and see if you can achieve some kind of a new consensus..
So far (from about 13 hours ago as I type this pots) the ATH on Bitstamp price is $99,800.. so yeah, $200 to go.
Probably action is better than saying anything, and I doubt that you are late adopters. You are just a bit later than some of the folks who came earlier than you.
What you should do is get the fuck started as soon as possible and start buying regularly and otherwise study the space, then in 4-10 years or later, you will probably be in a very good place both financially and psychologically, even though it is not guaranteed that you will be in a good place, but at least bitcoin is amongst the best of investments if not the best investment, so it likely would be worth your time to figure it out so you are not whining and envious but instead proactive and building your stack as well as you can within your own abilities.

You can ONLY do what you can, and part of the goal should be to still be in the game 4-10 years down the road while having had stacked BTC the whole time, and then reassess from time to time if you are able to be more aggressive with your buying of BTC without over doing it.
It takes a long time to build wealth, and you are probably going to lessen your chances if you try to rush the process.. but at the same time, there sometimes can be ways that we can increase our income and/or decrease our expenses in order that we will have more discretionary income available for buying BTC.
